HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla.- The bodies of a Canadian couple have been found inside their townhouse in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

The Miami Herald reports the couple were discovered after a concerned neighbour found them inside their townhouse in the eastern Florida community between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Hallandale Beach police spokeswoman Sonia Quinones told the newspaper the neighbour had a key to the townhouse and went to check on the couple late Thursday afternoon.

The man and woman, believed to be in their 70s, had failed to show up for lunch with the neighbour on Wednesday and had not answered repeated phone calls.

Police, who were still at the home late Thursday, said the names of the victims would not be released until relatives were notified.

The Herald reports the couple was known to spend winters in Hallandale Beach.

I am sorry to hear about the Canadian couple, Florida is not safe , it is a gun west world state run by politicians who are owned by the NRA.

The shootings here are daily.

Cuba is much safer and much more law and order.

I have been to Cuba 4 times now and I have been to Mexico 4 times also, I have to admit I've never felt unsafe in Mexico, but I've fallen in love with Cuba, the people are friendly, smiling, they seem happy. the beaches are amazing, in fact just last night there was a film on Cuba on tv about the wildlife in Cuba, 3 birds only found in CUba, Cuban alligator, painted snails and so much fish and coral reefs. Untouched, and unexploited unlike Mexico, I hope the Americans never get their hands on CUba, I know Castro isn't the best but the laws he has in place to protect the environment is doing the right thing.

If the Miami right wing Cuban "MAFIA" get their greedy hands on Cuba, the fauna will be a memory , these people have never seen wild areas they don't want to mine, drill and turn into parking lots.
If not for the USA fed gvmt, the Everglades would just be a memory and the anti-Castro, Miami Cuban Fanjul brothers have polluted some of the Everglades with the blessing of the Miami Cuban politicos.

"The Fanjul brothers, Florida's Cuban-American reigning sugar barons who ... 180,000 acres in South Florida that send polluted water into the Everglades"

Castro might not be the best but compared to the rampant political corruption by the Miami "anti-Castro" bunch, Castro isn't that bad because the only thing stopping these corrupt nuts is the USA federal gvmt.
Other wise this place would be worse than Castro's Cuba.

"Miami Named Worst-Run City in America, Hialeah is Tenth"

Congratulations Miami-Dade County! We're home to not one, but two of the ten worst-run cities in the entire United States of America. The City of Miami came first on 24/7 Wall Street's list. That would be bad enough, but citizens of Miami proper may be even more devastated ;to find that their city is explicitly worse-run than Hialeah. The City of Progress came in 10th on the list.
