LOWER MIDDLE CLASS cANADIANS LOVE TO GO TO CUBA. CHEAP HOTELS, CHEAP PROSTITUTES, CHEAP RESORTS.......Of course this is a result of inexpensive slave labor provided by the citizens of the island prison.

And if they lean to the left, well, then they feel even better, after all, they can look the other way and ignore the inhumane abuse, as left wingers always do.

Before castro it never had a good government, though now is way worse.

But there was a GREAT economy, one that was an example to the rest of the world, and there was social justice!

Well said Gordon...that article was written by a typical cheap, stingy ,backpacker Canadian tourist!
He is also so ignorant that he call Cuba the land of the fently swaying coconut trees! In Cuba the typical palm are the Cuban Royal Palm ...you seldom find coconuts trees palms, like you find in the rest of the Caribbean islands! You don't find coconut trees in Cuban beaches, the most common tree in Cuba's beaches are the wild grape trees( Uvas caletas or uvas playeras)

So what are all you saying??? Nobody should go to CUba???

If everyone stopped going to Cuba for vacation, what would happen??

All those people who work at the resorts would have nothing!!!! No JOB, no gifts from tourists, extras.

Think of that?? What would be the solution???

What should be done??? All I read is don't support Cuba, if the tourists don't, who will???

The irony is that these same fascist HYPOCRITE Miami Cubans do not utter a word when Spaniards go to Cuba or do business with Cuba it is only when Canadians or Italians go do they throw a Cuba libre hissy fit.

Que clase de hipocritas y cobardes son uds.

“The real cowards were the people who ran from the good fight with Fidel Castro. The real Cuban patriots...either died fighting Castro or still are in Cuba fighting for freedom,” and he said,“The motto during our American Revolution was,‘Give me liberty or give me death.’ To too many Cubans,” he added,“the motto was ‘Give me liberty or give me Miami.’”
