Do you think that Barbie is really responsible for eating disorders, or is it parents' who are responsible for imparting healthy body images? In a land where plastic surgery is so widely accessible, can we still blame a plastic toy, if we're turning ourselves plastic?

30 years ago Barbie-responsible for eating disorders might have been a popular topic among parents given that it was one of the most popular "roll models" for kids but not today when the media is floated with "skinny is better" subliminal messages.
Bizzaromom couldn't have said it any better "we're turning ourselves plastic"!
