From USATODAY:

"The Midwest Conservative Journal has field day mocking Rev. Barbie and, through her, the liberal Episcopal Church led by Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori. Schori is known for supporting full inclusion for gays and lesbians in the church (and for her own colorful vestments). MCJ says:

"I suppose 'orthodox' Christians would raise all sorts of 'theological' objections to the 'ordination' of inanimate 'objects' in the Episcopal 'Church' as well as to their full 'inclusion' in the 'life' of that institution. But it seems to me that the benefits would far outweigh the risks. These include but are not limited to:
(1) Better sermons
(2) Less heresy in sermons
(3) A lessening of Anglican Communion tensions since inanimate standing committees would be far less likely to assent to the election of controversial episcopal candidates
(4) Your parish no longer has to buy as much good coffee or communion wine.

"Should the Archbishop of Canterbarbie -- I mean Canterbury!-- be looking over his shoulder?"

It is a sad illustration of their hatred for TEC, for women and now even for poor Barbie.

She's a woman, that, in itself scares the shit out of them.

Unfortunately they keep using that crap for their brains and it stinks with each self-accusing post they write.

We'll be the GOOD NEWS bearers, they can continue to aid Satan in bringing hatred and disunity...

The only joke is the "other" Barbie, although they're both "one of a kind".

What part of this isn't factual?

"Leanne Larmondin for Religion News Service, interviews the creator of the stylish little priest, Rev. Jule Blake Fisher, a priest in Kent Ohio, who outfitted 'Episcopal Church Barbie -- High Church Edition,' as a gift for a friend, Rev. Dena Cleaver-Bartholomew, rector of Christ (Episcopal) Church, in Manlius, N.Y., near Syracuse."

The response to this may be amusing, but this one-of-a-kind "Rev. Barbie" is real; the fact that you can't tell the difference yet you still co-edit this forum is the real joke.

She has the right, more than you, little man.

And you are past being a joke, your bigotry and misogynistic lies make you anti-Jesus.

I'm sure you'd feel safer with the feminine looking Barbie, no life, no talking and no brain and all.

No joke..........

Yes and the same was done to the Lord Jesus but remember who also won that battle. And should that not be $30.00?

I would have to disagree. In the last twenty years seminary education has immersed itself in theology, both, classical and contemporary, extensive scripture studies, sacraments, morality, plus pastoral care. Moreso most seminaries today have a well rounded formation program which ensures us healthy priests. This is not your 1960s seminary.

You have all the things you say but you do not have priests with the conviction that the Bible is the written Word of God. Without this conviction they feel free to change what is stated plainly in Scripture.
