PRO-JUDAS. NOT PRO-JEWISH. Because the Gospel of Judas portrays Judas as a hero rather than a villain, some people have given the impression that it is somehow an antidote to historic Christian anti-Semitism. This response is ironic, since much of early Gnosticism was deeply critical of traditional Judaism. Gnostics believed that there were actually two Gods, and that the God of the Jews was an evil or ignorant creator who deceived people.

I really do not think June we Christians have any concerns about Gnosticism, and their perverted theology. Judas betrayed Christ,he hung himself, and whenever we study the New Testament those facts are part of our study. But rest assure we have not forgotten Israel and the Jewish people. There are millions of Christians who support the Jewish People, and have long worked to unite with the Jewish people and to help them in any way possible. I belong to an organization that helps the Jewish people on a regular basis. May the LORD bless His people, and keep them,as HE never sleeps nor slumbers.God has His people in many countries, and He cares for them all. Did you ever hear of the Limbas in Zimbabwe, black Jews, also the Ethiopian Jews Falasha. There are Jews in China. Jews in India.God is putting it strong on the hearts of many Jews and Christians to work with and help these people groups. It may be that these peoples are Hebrews,as Jews are from the tribe of Judah.

But still world-wide Jews are also concerned about the many Jews who are scattered in the Nations and many of whom are persecuted in the countries they live in. The persecutors are either Muslims or Communists. In Russia today a resurgence of persecution against Jews is rising up throughout that region,Putin's pro-socialistic revolution of sorts has no concerns for the Jewish population.

A saved person is in Christ just like Noah was in the ark. The ark was a picture of Jesus and when Noah went into that ark God shut the door. Noah may have fallen down a lot of times in that ark, but he never fell out of it. That saved person's security is not in a place, it is in a Person and His name is Jesus. When a person is in Jesus, they are secure and if they are not in Jesus they are not secure....
The sons of God are never left to fend for themselves with the Bible to the best of their understanding...they are led to all truth by the promised one...the Holy Spirit... the "others" are left with their own understanding and that leads them to where and what they want to see.....
Sons of God do not assume that they are automatically enrolled in heaven...they know it..they have been sealed with the holy Spirit of promise.....per Scripture..."others" pursue often a lifetime to being near to Jesus as the Center of God's Will in their lives...

To begin, I think your analogy of a saved person in Christ is like Noah was in the ark, has overreached a bit. There is a typology. But it ends with your statement that "God shut the door".
In fact God did not do so. But it was rather Noah's obedience to what God had said to do, which was part of their salvation, and those of the animals in the ark. Thus to think that one's life is definitively sealed(God has shut the door, or OSAS), is not applicable here.(I admit, that at first it does "sound" good, but, if you examine the scripture on Noah and the Ark, I am sure you will agree, and not really find, that God shut the door..., so to speak. And in light of that, it is because of a presumption you believe it to be so.)

Your scripture, of course can stand alone, but it does not really say that OSAS is in effect. Rather it omits it. To be a new creature in Christ, one has then received a Gift, Jesus Christ, and care must be taken to nurture that Gift within oneself. If on the other hand one does not, and ignores the calling of the Holy Spirit, or one's conscience, then I would agree that one has had a superfluous relationship with Jesus Christ, and drifts away.

Yet some believe that such a superficial relationship with Jesus Christ, once accepted is enough to make them saved forever, because they had some experience in their life. They are more like the crowds often written about in the Gospels that followed Jesus to hear him, but then just went back to their homes and their own way of life.(And they no doubt believed they were better people for having listened, or even "saved" in a sense, but can they really be?)

In terra incognito, there are no priorly known places to go and see. Terra incognito is just that ... a search for something in unknown territory ... not already known territory.
Unknown territory is territory that has never BEEN discovered ... not even by you.

"Do you know how many people I can bring to Christ???"

No, and neither do you and your money.
Having money in no way relates to or equates to bringing people to Christ.
Having a good personal testimony is all that is required.
Water wells do not lead people to anything spirit related. Avoid flattering yourself over having money to do things.
As a donation to humanitarian projects your contributions are well placed and certainly the people there need good water.
It is not your money which leads people to Christ. It is your personal testimony.

Having money will not lead people to the Great Mystery, the Great Spirit, the flying spaghetti monster, the primordial soup, the Cosmos, nor Buddah or Allah either. ONLY people can do that.

Stupidity can't rise about stupidity ... so we go around in circles ... searching for an out that doesn't exist.

We can imagine that we've been to the outer limits and have arrived at brilliance ... but that is simply based on fantasy and puffed up ego.

If I informed you that I know some secret spiritual knowledge that YOU don't know ... you'd be a fool to believe me.

I wouldn't even believe my self if I started spouting such radical nonsense.

Man from a Far Country—A portrait of Pope John Paul II, by Mary Craig ……….

Indeed he understood those who denied that there was a God. He had, as many of the fathers had not, first-hand experience with atheism and numbered many unbelievers among his friends. Like Pope John, he preferred to look for the common ground between them, believing that the church must take man as he is.

It is not the role of the Church to flourish its authority in the face of unbelievers. We and all our fellow men are engaged in a search….let us avoid all moralizing and all suggestion that the Church has a monopoly of truth. One of the major defects of the draft is that in it, the Church appears to be an authoritarian institution.

Saving one of his most audacious initiatives for the twilight of his papacy, John Paul II yesterday attempted to purify the soul of the Roman Catholic church by making a sweeping apology for 2,000 years of violence, persecution and blunders.
From the altar of St Peter's Basilica in Rome he led Catholicism into unchartered territory by seeking forgiveness for sins committed against Jews, heretics, women, Gypsies and native peoples.

Galatians 1
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
I think that means that they removed themselves...in my opinion.
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

From the time God called them into the Grace of Christ, to the time they began to listen to others preaching another gospel (a false gospel) was "so soon"....not a long time.....

The following explains it this way:
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

The people Paul was talking to are these:
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Unknown territory is unknown.

Secret knowledge is another moronic claim. If it's secret, it can't be known.

"We have some secret knowledge for sale" ... advertised the men of the Rosicrucian Order. And my dad answered the advertisement ... which was a huge mistake on his part.

He worked very hard to earn his money that they bilked from him, because he invested his FAITH in the idea that he would be fed universal truth.

He was a good, kind man ... who thought religion would help him make the GRADE!

What a shame.
