Do tell! Is hell a real place or is it just made-up by knowledge-able "scholars?"
The Christian hell is based on the Greek myth.

You never read, huh?

"Within the framework of theology," if Jesus never betrayed the Jews, then he's still faithful to Judaism and the Jews that believe in Judaism.

But that is NOT the story told by any of the Christians.

Note
In 1969 the Vatican cast a critical eye on more than 40 saints and dropped them from the official catalog, or liturgical calendar. Removed were such well-known saints as Saint Christopher (the patron saint of travelers
Before the formal canonization process began in the fifteenth century, many saints were proclaimed by popular approval. This was a much faster process but unfortunately many of the saints so named were based on legends, pagan mythology, or even other religions -- for example, the story of the Buddha traveled west to Europe and he was "converted" into a Catholic saint! In 1969, the Church took a long look at all the saints on its calendar to see if there was historical evidence that that saint existed and lived a life of holiness. In taking that long look, the Church discovered that there was little proof that many "saints", including some very popular ones, ever lived.

Christopher is retained on the local Calendar but removed from the Universal. None of this changes the fact from the very beginning of the church the Saints were honored. It may come as a shock to some Protestants that it was customary for Jews to make Shrines for prophets and holy men. The inscriptions on the tombs is ample evidence among other writings that the practice that those who had passed were asked to pray for us. Yeah legends existed and there is no way to verify every local story. Its pretty clear the Vatican is very leary of Mary appearing in a piece of toast. lol These things are taken very seriously no legends ever get passed around the internet. lol 150 million killed in the inquistion. lol Asking a Saint to pray for you does not guarantee a response, but it does show that you have faith that God is the God of the living and not the dead. I know that doesnt mean anything to you, but so be it. None of this takes away from the point that no one other than someone declared is or can be a Saint.

Cute Poem

Where is Gramma?

In the dim and distant past,
When life’s tempo wasn’t fast,
Gramma used to rock and knit,
Crochet, chat and babysit.
When the children were in a jam,
They could always count on Gram,
In the days of gracious living,
Gramma was the one for giving.
But today Gram’s in the gym,
Exercising to keep slim.
She’s off touring with her bunch,
Or with friends, she’s out to lunch.
Going north to ski or curl,
All her days are in a whirl.
Nothing seems to stop or block her,
Now that Gram is off her rocker.

Jesus is dead, goofy.

He's not "still faithful" to anything.

Some of the saints were dropped because doubts had been raised in the last few centuries that they ever existed at all
That is what I was, referring to, though I did not know,it was,40 only remembered, Christopher as everyone had a,medal ...it's not like I made,it up ..it was,out there

I suggest that universal takes priority over local.

At any rate, I think the teaching of saints and demons is silly nonsense.

Scholars choose the best scholars by repeatedly cited the best of the best in their own works.

But willful ignorance chooses to ignore scholarship if it interferes with that ignorance.

Hows that working for you, nut?
