How does "scripture" teach you to pray..."Our father, who are in heaven, Hallowed be thy name...thy kingdom come...thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven... Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us....Lead us not into temptation...for thine is the power and the glory forever."<quoted text>
The first half of the Hail Mary is taken right from scripture. When you pray, do you only read prayers verbatim from the bible?
That is what Jesus said is the only prayer that is of any importance.
Do you know why?
BTW there is NO Mary mentioned...do you know why?
I will tell you about the "Mary" part...Thou shall hold no others before me...simple as that...
Now figure the other out for yourself, lest I should have to embarrass you even more.
