Read Psalms 132 verse 13....

This demonstrates where God stated that Mt. Zion is His holy place. CHECKMATE
Have you ever read the verse where it states that God created the earth not in vain but He created it to be inhabited forever?
The world is NOT gonna be destroyed but the age is gonna be destroyed. You guys need to understand a figure of speech when you read it in the Bible good sistah.
I don't doubt that you understand the Book of Revelation more so than your Protestant breathern. I think you should give an ear to the Catholic teaching on it. Interpret it like it was meant to be.
I wish I could provide the link on a great presentation from the Catholic perspective I heard. Perhaps tomorrow..
It really is silly how all these different religions popped up as a result of privately interpreting Revelation.

Trying the spirits. If God promised that there would never fail to be a man to sit on the throne of David till He whose right it be to come and take it,WHERE IS THAT THRONE TODAY? It's NOT in Israel the small nation in the ME.

Is there any Christian here that knows where this throne exists today. I seriously doubt it. Either the throne is no longer in existence with someone sitting on it or God lied. Considering that it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie,I present to you that the throne of Davis is still in existence today with a descendant of David still on that throne. WHERE IS IT?

Thomas Jefferson simply put thoughts of what the words meant to him on paper. Others do it only in their minds.

Catholics never agreed on the interpretations, and still don't agree. That is why the church split into factions and finally into more factions of Protestantism.

People take their own meanings TO the words and then are certain that the words are speaking to them.

It's all about refection.

I'll continue to put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ,(as a born again Christian), each day, in and through HIS One True Apostolic Catholic Church and God HIS Father as my "final judge" regarding my own Eternal Redemption and NOT YOU, NOT CONFRINTING or ANY other self-appointed Protestant egotistical judge!!...... Furthermore, only a ---- "born again fundie"---- would falsify and misrepresent the TRUTH of the TRUE interpretation of the bible by "editorializing" Gods original "plan and process" regarding Salvation with this "OSAS" made-up "rif-raf!!!!
Born again Christian will stand on ever roof top and declare their testimony...you ain't got a testimony...because you ain't saved...

Christ did not build a denomination...which is what your cult is...your poop approve bible says so....

After such a lot of words, it shouldn't be a hardship for you to post all that Jesus said that you believe others should follow.
However I don't expect you have a desire to do so, so you will keep on explaining why you don't want to repeat your self.
:)
Since I've named GoThomas multiple times, I would have figured you had caught on to that this gospel is part of that belief.

If one utilizes other texts from the Hag Hammadi Library, you will find other similar beliefs. But you don't want to read them, huh? You'd rather have me state them individually.

For what reason? I don't force you to abide by these philosophies, as you have chosen one that fits you. So be it. In fact, you have also accept many truths in doing so. So be it.

As you can see - thru the postings in this forum - many people don't accept those facts and truths to be factual or truthful. SO be it.

My point is - it doesn't make them wrong to do so, but it does make them look silly for doing so. Is being silly wrong? I don't think so.

Is believing lies wrong? I don't think there is a crime against it, but it does show how gullible people are, by NOT researching things first.

Thomas Jefferson wrote a short version of the New Testament for the Indians. He saw their pagan practices and wanted to give them the gospel without letting them believe that Jesus was just another superstition. He simple held the miracles back until they could understand.

That may be but I'm still smarter than you. Now answer the question. Where is that Throne today or are you implying that God lied when He stated that there would never cease to be someone sitting on that throne till he whose right to possess that throne came and took it.

I bet my next paycheck you have no idea where that throne is today.

I am telling the world that Anthony is as phony a Christian as a three dollar bill...his "Christian testimony" regards his "salvation" is on the net!!!!!

He copied and pasted it!!!!! Here it is!!!

Are you ready to accept the gift of eternal life that Jesus is offering you right now? Let's review what this commitment involves:

I acknowledge I am a sinner in need of a Savior - this is to repent or turn away from sin

I believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead - this is to trust that Jesus paid the full penalty for my sins

I confess Jesus as my Lord and my God - this is to surrender control of my life to Jesus

I receive Jesus as my Savior forever - this is to accept that God has done for me and in me what He promised

Its on an SBC web site....titled "How to be a Christian"...

I have failed him!!!! I have told him over and over, never tell a lie that can be easily proven a lie...but, evidently, I are not a good teacher...

Actually we like to let the bible interpret the bible with a revelation in comprehension from the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Compare the book of Daniel to Revelation.

It would be a miracle if you and Thomas Jefferson had understood that people that are raised in other religions believe their own way ... not your way ... and that religion as a whole was and is all based on varieties of human assumptions.

I was referring to Atheist as having fear.
But now that you mentioned it....I would include designer religions such as 'new age spiritual' stuff as well.
Everybody is a Protester against the only Church Christ started, whether you're the original protestants, or the 45,000 that came after- including the modern day gnostics - who mysteriously use some of our scriptures to form their belief system. Its all fear based.
I don't fear religion. Nor do I fear death - in which religions speak of.

In fact, I've accepted my death - whenever or wherever. It will come, and I will be waiting - all the while - enjoying my life as it comes to me with every moment.

Fear is an emotion that is created from within. Something we can control using free will.

Please don't project, it is starting to be very unbecoming of you.

BTW - Why do you think "all" religions are fear based? From a Catholic's POV, I'm presuming you are speaking of "all others", excluding Catholicism, right?

Do you have a citation to back up this claim.

I read of a group of Native Indians that were totally confused by a Catholic priest and a Protestant minister taking turns at teaching the Natives that they were both liars.

The Natives couldn't understand why two men preaching from the same bible would call each other liars.

:)

As we can see from this forum ... nothing has changed.

The Arrogance of Faith, by Forrest G. Wood

In his study on “the Protestant hope for a Christian America,” Robert T. Handy on New York’s Union Theological Seminary acknowledged the contradiction inherent in the belief in one true faith in a pluralistic and democratic society.“Committed to the principle of religious freedom and to the voluntary method, the leaders of the thrust to make America Christian failed to sense how coersive their efforts appeared to those who did not share their premises.” He wrote in A Christian America (1971.“It was hard for them not to view their opponents as agents of evil, for they were convinced that they were unequivocally on the side of good.”
