So is it your position that your communion is a spiritual Christ? Or is just symbolic? Why do so many sola scriptura protestants say it's only a symbol?
I did not say it is symbolic...I said it is A spiritual experience..
It is certainly not meant to be cannibalistic...
I don't expect you to comprehend what is written here..
If you ever get Born again of the Spirit you will...
UNTIL THEN YOUR CARNAL MIND IS DEAD TO ANY UNDERSTANDING OF THE TRUE WORD OF GOD..AND
YOU WILL BE CONTINUALLY ATTEMPTING TO FIGURE OUT SPIRITUAL
EXPERIENCES FROM A CARNAL/FLESHLY PERSPECTIVE.
Rom_8:6 For to be carnally/FLESHLY minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
-->THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM<--
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
-->THE SPIRIT OF GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN YOU.-->
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.--> Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.<--
Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
he that raised up Christ from the dead shall
also quicken/GIVE LIFE TO... your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written,
The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual,
but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy:
the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy,
such are they also that are earthy: and
as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that
==>flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. <==
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and
the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and
we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
