Anyway, i didn't mean to imply age automatically makes someone stubborn. Obviously many on hear are open minded regardless.
Many people were raised a certain way; to believe scripture in a certain way and that's that.
Those last two questions of yours are trick questions.
The Catholic Church is His Church. We don't claim any different. We can historically trace it to the foot of Our Lord. If you can ignore the stereotypes and propaganda that people smear it with, you'll see what I am talking about.
You said "If you believe the Catholic Church is your savior God help you"
Now Rose, if the Catholic Church is really what was started by Jesus Christ- and I believe we've proven it was on this forum... your question would now sound like this:
'If you believe Jesus Christ's Church is your savior than God help you'
His Church is Hid bride ..the believers. Including Catholic..protestant And Messianic and Evangelicals.

But NO CHURCH saves,only Jesus.

True, Jesus saves, but don't you think that the teachings of His Church might be important on the the road to salvation?
If the Catholic Church is the Church He started, then it would be the Bride!!

How many brides can a man have?
You say all the 'believers' are His bride. But Rose, clearly Protestantism is all over the map on teachings. Sure they all say,' well we believe Christ is our savior and that's all that matters'

But Jesus said 'many will say, Lord Lord'.

The point is that you (and others) were objecting to Catholics confessing their sins to a priest. And I pointed out that Jesus said to confess your sins to another person, then asked you who do you confess yours to since you don't confess to a priest. You then couldn't really say "nobody" since you claim to follow Jesus and you couldn't deny his teaching on this. Then you said you confessed to some lady.
My guess is that you made a mistake at some point in the past and hurt this lady's feelings and you told her you were sorry.
So my next question is have you sinned since then?
If you want to continue your nonsense...answer my question: What possible difference does it make????!!!!!

I did not ask you a thing about a point!!!!!

Some one who believes the Bible to the sole source of Christian teaching and instruction (Sola Scriptura) should be ready to cite said Bible's explicit support for that belief.
Asking for it isn't mockery nor a "satanic attack".
Avoidance of the question is the bad act here, not the asking of the question.
Scripture alone (from the Reformation slogan Sola Scriptura) is the teaching that Scripture is the Church's only infallible and sufficient rule for deciding issues of faith and practices that involve doctrines. While the Bible does not contain all knowledge, it does contain that which is necessary for salvation. Indeed, if something is not found in Scripture, it is not binding upon the believer. This view does not deny that the Church has the authority to teach God's Word. Furthermore, while tradition is valuable, it but must be tested by the higher authority of the Scriptures.

On the contrary, the Catholic Church is not selfish at all. Her doors are open to everyone. She wishes the whole world come join her feasts. She is not going to let someone come in and desecrate the Holy Eucharist, however.
Horse putooth:

Quote: After excerpts from the second volume of the pope’s book on Jesus made the rounds last week, featuring his rejection of the idea that “the Jews” killed Christ, the full text adds another point with important implications for Christian/Jewish relations -- in effect, that Christianity “must not concern herself with the conversion of the Jews.”

Thank you for clarifying.
Well, I can't answer for those individuals, but if they do have this belief, I will succumb to say to them,'Don't live in fear, live in love" - enjoy life, as you only have one.
And....give a toy to a child and really see the wonders of life.
There. Were my answers sufficient now?
No, your answer was not sufficient.

They don't live in fear that they will burn in hell. They live in lust of the idea that they will go to heaven and other "evil beings" will go to hell.

Do you perceive that that way of believing is positive and healthy for their states of mind?
