Ah, but we are not talking about Jesus' soul, we are talking about Jesus being the third person of the Holy Trinity. John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us". If Jesus is God the Son, how can you separate his flesh (the word) from Jesus being God?
Mary gave birth to God the Son. Yes or NO? Now if you and LTM say that she only gave birth to his flesh, well, the Bible clearly states that the "word" became flesh.
Jesus is the second person of the Holy Trinity the Holy Spirit is the third.
Mary gave birth to the son of God!

Wrong
Christianity's origin from several points of view. Acts 2 records the birth of the church at Pentecost. This was indeed a Feast of Harvest (Exodus 23:16), because a harvest of about 3,000 souls took place on that day when the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles and disciples (Acts 2:1-41). Biblically, Christianity is not a building or religion but the church, or household of God. It is embodied in Christ and His people, individually and collectively. Before time began, the church was conceived in the mind of God.
Not wrong.

That's all very nice, but the Church is also visible. It is not merely a group of people loosely connected by faith in the bible alone....particularly since they all have a different personal interpretation of said bible. So, yes, it is also a building.

Protest-antism cannot exist unless it formulates teachings that are contradictory to the Church founded by Christ.

You do not believe in the faith handed down by the Apostles. Some of it....maybe. But not the entire deposit of faith. Your beliefs and those of your co-religionists did not exist until the protest-ation.

“What are you looking at?”

Silly people!
Jesus doesn't love everyone?

Hmmmm....Oh yeah - from what we can tell, he didn't love the Pharisees, but they are still included in "everyone".

Why is it silly to think that Jesus didn't love everyone - including "silly people"?

Don't get me started on the sexual perversity rampant within the pentecostal cult. Or any of the other numerous protest-ant groups.

According to Stop Baptist Predators.com the baptists won't allow any accountability at all. They have their hands full. The pentacostals are likely worse since they're such great finger pointers.
Please don't take up with the likes of those here who are getting cheap thrills from fantasizing about the sexual sins of others. It's sick!
The Roman Catholic church has done such a wonderful job with the sexual abuse issue that it's pope resigned his position for the first time in over 600 years.

Do you suppose the world would forget the perversion because the master pervert resigned? Joseph Ratzinger's (pope Benedict)history of covering up the attrocities is legendary.

Yes, sick is a word but a word not nearly strong enough to define the depth, width and bredth of the Roman Catholic perversion. Not even close. Then on top of the coverup the vatican creates sex stories detailing other perverts to divert attention away from themselves. Sick...oh yes...most definitely.

Regina, your money supports the actions of your organization from top to bottom. If you keep giving they will continue to sodomize little boys. Sleep well tonight as your priests go about their business on your dime.

You do not believe God??

John 3:16

King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

The Son of God is God! God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Three divine persons in ONE God. Jesus is God. Mary is His mother. Mary is the Mother of God.

To believe otherwise is to not be Christian.

See what I mean, folks? And you all go crazy when you hear it. But what would *you* call someone who does not believe that Jesus is God Incarnate? Any thoughts, Mr. Humble??

God loves everyone. He does not love their sins. He wishes no one to perish. If by their choice they do, it does not mean that He did not love them. You do not understand the basic precepts of Christian teaching. June is right about you....you're all about God only loving those who believe as you do. Greedy.

I feel sorry for him.
You are supposed to love him, not call him names, correct?

I suppose it would be a no-brainer if we BOTH knew that God existed.

I mean if we all knew and the rules were clear, who would be crazy enough to break them?

Only a crazy person.

Yes, He did love the Pharisees. As I just told someone else, He does not love their sins. There's a difference.

"Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do."

Not the words of someone who doesn't love.

No they were not, they were people who would not turn and pledge a legion to the catholic dictatorship, and join the catholic regime.
"pledge a legion"?

Where can we find evidence of these people? Can you pelase direct me to a website, a history book, or anything that contains information about a group of early Christians that held your beliefs and were persecuted by the Catholic Church?

Or an imperfect sinner, as we all are. We're to strive for perfection, picking ourselves up and trying again with God's help each time we fall. It's more of a problem when we refuse to admit our sins and deliberately continue in them, i.e. bigoted and slanderous statements against Christ's church even after one has been corrected. But with repentence there's hope even for that soul. Rejection of God would be another "rule" one would be a Crazy Person to break.

Christopher Hitchens, the great, and now dead, socialist atheist. Don't forget, he hated fundies like you just as much as Catholics.

The minute losers like you start quoting nut-job atheists to support your paranoia, it proves you've lost the argument. Nice job.

All original Christians believed that those who were not Christian could not be saved.

What you and Billy Graham NOW believe is not original, and therefore it is NOT Christianity.

If you haven't figured out how to be perfect yet, why are you using your religion to preach at others about anything whatsoever?

It's quite obvious your religion didn't cure YOU of anything from what you perceive still infects others.

What a lie.

Christopher Hitches didn't hate those in religion. He simply understood that religion doesn't create peace ... it simply creates animosity and division.
