You seem to be saying that a practicing Catholic child would not care in any way whatsoever that his or her esteemed Church declared their parents sacred marriage as always "invalid."
But, what else can you say really?
It requires supreme self-delusion to believe any Church acts in the spirit of the Bible when it calls $69.95 annulments "carefully investigated."
Forget the Bible, this is simply made up to accommodate modern society. It's just that sometimes things get a little too absurd.
