That's funny, and largely true.
I recall that you predicted his election. Once again Michael, you were right on target.
And when the new Pope said in his introduction speech -- "Tomorrow I want to go pray to the Madonna" -- I knew the changes had begun, again exactly as you predicted.
(lol)

Believe me, Anthony and ReginaM. are lurking on this forum everyday.

A certain poster said he was leaving this forum and Anthony/Regina said "so are we". Problem is the poster that said he was leaving, never left, leaving Anthony/Regina out in the cold never to be heard from again.

No, I've already proven them to be false.
I didn't respond furhter, because I think your statement has no merit.
But what can one expect from one who is dishonest with theirself and others....and then make up things about someone else and claim it to be true.
Care to try again? Maybe starting off with an apology for being a false witness to others will help?
You are just too much!!!!!

You are too kind!!! What a blessing!!!
Thanks, again, and again, for proving my words to be undeniably truth!!!

You don't even know the definition of "believe".....so you really cannot be expected to know much about anything else....

Clay, honor your new Pope and embrace the love that he called for.
There were many false prophets eons before Martin Luther, so calling him "the Grand Dad of false prophets" is mean.
I'll try and not sound mean.

Say, from what I'm reading about Pope Francis, its going to be tough for you guys to hate this man..

He refused a vehicle perk, driver, house and chef for being ArchBishop of Buenos Aries. Opting instead to take the bus to work, live in a small apartment and cook his own food - which he bought by himself from the local market down the street..

Plus, he never took up arms against the USA in WW2.

Other than being a socialist who has advocated land distribution, free healthcare, etc., I like the guy.

His austere lifestyle (typical Jesuit) is an example that the entire Vatican should follow.

Just because he's the anti-Christ is no reason to dislike the man :o)

It is gonna be fun to see how they handle it.

I guess they were looking for a "conference room" within the complex.

Michael says.......Do you mean trade in the $1.5 MILLION Pope-Mobile for a $69 a month Rome bus pass? for Pope Francis, and new Schwinn bicycles for the Cardinals in Rome?

By the looks of the size of the some of the cardinals, they have not been helping the poor people very much. Making their own meals and brown bagging it might slim them all down.

This new Pope is onto something good!

Pope Francis

He is the first pope from the Jesuit order. He was ordained as a Jesuit priest in 1969.

Bergoglio’s legacy as cardinal includes his efforts to repair the reputation of a church that lost many followers by failing to openly challenge Argentina’s murderous 1976-83 dictatorship.

Bergoglio is one of five children and as a child suffered a respiratory illness that left him with just one lung. Bergoglio is known in his native city’s archdiocese for his simplicity, CBS 2′s Jessica Schneider reported.

Loaded hierarchy:

* Pope Francis - first Jesuit Pope
* Pope emeritus Benedict - Headed the office of the Inquisition
* Adolfo Nicolas - Jesuit General
* Peter Hans Kolvenbach - Jesuit General emeritus

Your Pope asks you to consider the fact that Our Lord Jesus Christ while being with His apostles for over 3 years did NOT spend ALL His time preaching in public to the people.

No, He didn't. Jesus and His apostles spent a lot of time alone together speaking to one another and reflecting on what was happening. Three years was a long time to be in His company, but wonderful time to be in His company. Not ALL of what Jesus had to say during these 3 years got written down, but handed down from person to person, year after year. And consider the fact, too, that they walked on long journeys from town to town with most of these journeys taking days and days to complete. What do you think they talked about as they walked along.

Stanley and I believe that they got a real good look into the Real Jesus and knew that He was special. Truly the Son of GOD.

You can put your own thoughts on what Jesus said. Stanley says that he is sure that there were times when Jesus said to Peter, you stay here with the others while I go into the bushes to take a leak.

After all, he was human too. YES!!!

Meet Charles Chiniquy (30 July 1809 – 16 January 1899). He was a Canadian Catholic priest who left the Catholic Church and became a Presbyterian pastor. He is known for his writings and sermons against the Roman Catholic Church. In the period between 1885 and 1899 he was the focus of a great deal of discussion in the United States of America. During the 1880s his conspiracy theories included the claim to have exposed the Jesuits as the assassins of President Abraham Lincoln, and that, if unchecked, the Jesuits could eventually politically rule the United States.

Do the Jesuits and Knights of Columbus run the Dept of Homeland Security?

According to Bob Trefz the first director of DHS Tom Ridge was KoC, and the Jesuit Volunteer Corps filled the top positions. Today the DHS director is Janet Napolitano who attended the Jesuit's Santa Claira U.
