I don't think my posts have changed since I been on here. Maybe fm has changed his perception.

I believe you guys are waging a war against the very Church that Jesus Christ started. On this forum alone, we've got Atheist to born agains and every phase of religion in between, allied against their common enemy. The Catholic Church.
Maybe I have a different approach to posting now. Its more like a sadness towards this hate. I might not be getting as angry at the hate anymore...I dunno.

You haven't been on here in awhile? You feeling ok? You were a Catholic once, all you got to do is go to Confession and receive the Eucharist. Then you can join our team. Lol. You can be surrounded by people who hate your faith too!

As the RCC is Popeless at the moment, I was only filling the void in their spiritual lives.

As you are here now, I will cede this awesome responsibility to you.

Yup thats the way, close your eyes and throw a dart. When 70% of the darts land in the middle a new Pope will emerge. Watch for the smoke signal.
OMG!
Actually, you don't have to be a Cardinal. According to RCC rules and regs, anyone who is baptized Roman Catholic is eligible.

Thus we thought you were in Rome getting ready to accept the position.

WRONG!! The Catholic Church is not a denomination! It was a Universal "Christian/spiritual entity of the VISIBLE TRUTH of the writings, traditions, manuscripts and letters from Jesus Christ HIMSELF and the Apostoles..... It was, is and will always be, the ONLY TRUE CHURCH that was established by Jesus Christ HIMSELF!!...There was only one Church and Jesus Christ initiated it,(over 2000 years ago) with HIS 1st authoritative, heirarchical, visible, Church at Antioch---headed by the Apostles (with Bishops, elders, priests and deacons in (Acts 2)... Denominational (division) began at the Reformation with Luther, followed by Zwingli, Hus, Wycliff, Calvin, Knox, Cranmer, Hedio and on and on and on and on--(now over 42,000 conflicting and contradicting "relative truth" denominations. EVERY ONE OF THEM are "MAN-MADE" beginning with Luther and the Lutheran Church. NOT ONE OF THEM was initiated, formed, established or founded by Jesus Christ HIMSELF---(Again)----THEY ARE ALL MAN INVENTED, MAN-INITIATED and MAN MADE by "so-called reformers" who claimed to be "so-called (enlightened expert) theologians", who chose to reject over 1500 years of PROVEN and AUTHENTICATED ---TRUE Biblical and Historical TRUTH---from the Early Church Fathers, documented Lives of the Saints and the overwhelming evidence of TRUTH from the Apologistic Historian authors and writers. God is not, nor ever will be, the author of your 42,000+ "bible only" Protestant "relative truth" --MAN-MADE divisions of confusion and chaos!
denomination
1. A large group of religious congregations united under a common faith and name and organized under a single administrative and legal hierarchy.

Catholics, like Protestants, are religious congregations united under a common faith and name and organized under a single administrative and legal hierarchy.

Sorry-Oxbow--but I don't need to get back to you about ANYTHING because I,we as Catholics,(need only) to continue to "get back to") THE TRUTH of our place of faith, hope, trust and salvation in Jesus Christ at Daily Mass, the Gospel message, the Eucharist, the other Sacraments, bible readings, and the Adoration Prayer Chapel with the Blessed Sacrament---IN AND THROUGH Our lords One (and only TRUE) Apostolic Catholic Church.
We, as Catholics, invite you to "get back to us" to discover the FULLNESS OF THE FAITH and the FULLNESS OF THE TRUTH in Jesus Christ and His One True Catholic Church (the Bride of Christ-HIMSELF), instead of "drifting around in circles" your bible only boat of confusion, contradiction, and relative "half-truth" Christianity!!!
Like most Catholics, you ignore the teaching of your pope approved NABre Bible. Regards Mt 16:18 it teaches:

Church: this word (Greek ekklēsia) occurs in the gospels only here and in Mt 18:17 (twice). There are several possibilities for an Aramaic original. Jesus’ church means the community that he will gather and that, like a building, will have Peter as its solid foundation. That function of Peter consists in his being witness to Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of the living God....

The Catholic Church is a denomination.....No denominations are named in Scripture....

Michael says.....thanks for noticing.

Just got back from Phoenix Az. on holidays.....

Its good to be back.

While away I noticed most american newspapers/media outlets expose the many scandals of your church just as I have reported about during the past few years. The focus isn't on bad priests anymore, its on a long list of bad behavior cardinals. Thats not good!

The picking of the Pope is all political. The voting cardinals at each election claim they hardly know each other. Thats not good!

......45 of the last 47 popes came from Italy, the ones that hang around Rome. What are the odds the next pope will be from somewhere other than europe? Very very slim.\

When bad stories emerge, they have to be reported, just like all the news in your local paper every day. Its just that you don't want bad news reported about your church leaders.

The truth must be told!

With African Catholic Cardinal Peter Turkson in the running as the next pope, the media have noted that he carries the fancy title of the president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, an arm of the Vatican. But they have failed to note the existence of a left-wing lobby in the U.S. working feverishly on his behalf. It is the same group of radicals, with connections to billionaire hedge-fund operator George Soros, who backed Obama for president by claiming he shared their Catholic values.
One of Turkson’s chief supporters in the U.S. appears to be Stephen Schneck, an associate professor of politics at the Catholic University of America (CUA) and a top official of “Catholics for Obama.” He runs CUA’s Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies and holds conferences featuring left-wing and liberal speakers.
Former AFL-CIO boss John Sweeney, a member of Democratic Socialists of America, told one of Schneck’s conferences that Jesus Christ was pro-union. Another speaker was socialist Harold Meyerson.
When Turkson’s Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace issued a controversial 2011 document,“Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of Global Political Authority,” Schneck called it “breathtaking” and a “Catholic way forward” from the present crisis.
A “global political authority” was endorsed by Pope Benedict XVI’s “Charity in Truth” encyclical in 2009.
Schneck, who served on the board of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, a group funded by Soros, is so important a figure in progressive Catholic circles that there is speculation that Obama will appoint him as U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican. A writer noted that Schneck “has worked hand-in-glove with different offices at the USCCB [United States Conference of Catholic Bishops], with Catholic Relief Services, with the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders and the Catholic Coalition for Climate Change, and with other Catholic groups, organizing conferences that call attention to important issues.”

Michael says......Yes I thought about buying a complete set of Cardinals garb (size XL) off of EBAY and head to Rome. Seeing most of the cardinals claim they don't know each other I could have fit right in.

I could have given them my list of proposals and changes needed in the church, they would have pondered them over, said they were good plans, and I could promise the losing cardinals all high positions in the vatican, if they voted me in MICHAEL Ist.

My first proposal would be polygraph tests for all the Cardinals/Bishops/Priests worldwide, to weed out the many remaining coverup artists, liars, deceivers and abusers Consolidate churches to fill them up, so there wouldn't be a priest shortage anymore, and lower tithing to 9% from 10%.

Results would be a healthy streamlined church, with its finances in order, its criminals in jail, and everyone could be happy again singing KOOM BI YA!

2Cor.2
[1] But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.
[2] For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
[3] And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.
[4] For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
[5] But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
[6] Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
[7] So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
[8] Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
[9] For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
[10] To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
[11] Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
[12] Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,
[13] I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.
[14] Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
[15] For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
[16] To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
[17] For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

You must Think Thomas not to be a MAN.

Not just "anyone who is Baptized Roman Catholic is eligible".

Any Catholic, period. Coptic, Byzantine, Russian, Albanian Catholics to name a few. Any Catholic Church in communion with the Bishop of Rome are eligible...or I should say,'their members are eligible'.

We could have a Pope who is not Roman Catholic. I don't how many Cardinals in the conclave who are not Roman Catholic, but I know one. His name is Baselios Cleemis - a member of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. There is talk of electing a young Pope and he's the youngest.

If you put as much thought into your arrogance to understanding what you spout off with, you would be a lot less arrogant and more humble.
