Responding to your previous post about Catholicism (traditions) not supposedly found in scriptures.
I assure you that every inch of Catholicism is somehow found in scriptures. Much of it is so deep rooted and entwined with the Church that its hard to explicitly see on the surface. This is what leads many notable Evangelical Pastors into the Catholic Church. They dive deeper and deeper into the Bible and read it thru the eyes of the authors; thru the eyes of the first Christians. Its there you see the teachings of the Catholic Church.
The simple fact is Jesus Christ established a Church per scripture. You can not find anywhere, where He established a Bible, per scripture.
Protestantism is built on Sola Scripture. This is not what Christ taught. This is not what the Apostles taught. In fact, this is not what any known Christian taught until 1,600 yrs after Christ!
Thus, Protestantism is a doctrinal mess.
they need another reciever or good tight-end to go along with percy harven and peterson to help carry the load, plus their defense needs work they give up to many big plays, and i figured that area would improve a lot when they hired frazier who is a defensive minded coach....catholic traditions are in the bible? examples, worshipping mary?praying to other saints? confessing to a priest (man),changing the sabbath? changing the commandments? daily mass? one day (saturday)was set aside for a day of worship/mass.to god,so where in the bible do you find all these traditions? and if they are in the bible wouldn't all denominations follow these traditions?....Sola scriptura (Latin ablative, "by scripture alone") is the doctrine that the Bible contains all knowledge necessary for salvation and holiness. Consequently, sola scriptura demands only those doctrines are to be admitted or confessed that are found directly within or indirectly by using valid logical deduction or valid deductive reasoning from scripture.JETHRO: I CAN SEE WHY the catholic church does not believe this,it dis-allows their traditions....the bible if infallible contains all that is needed for man to follow gods word and find salvation and be beside him in death (heaven). still no one has proven beyond a doubt god exists.

second, when i said that if you bless God he will bless you. and my son was not ashamed to admit that he was bought up in a religious family, and God Blessed that admitting and he received thousands of dollars with this grant to go to college.and unlike the family of jesus, His family didnt know that He was the Savior and they MOCKED HIM, and that can be laid at the feet of mary who should have known better.
MARY WAS NOT WITHOUT SIN, SHE MADE MISTAKES!!!
MISTAKES THAT MANY WOMEN WOULD NOT DARE TO MAKE TODAY
like I said, you could care less about the TRUTH

You are finally correct. I don't understand, as you write, "YOU didnt understand ONE word that I posted."

As for the mixing up of your opinions, experiences and understanding of the Bible, I just leave that for the Holy Spirit, and I shall pray for you.

About all I ask is that you consider not deriding and denegrating the Blessed Mother of Jesus. It is very hurtful.

Your anti-catholic "heretical condemning and judgemental preaching does NOT offend us either. It ONLY CONFIRMS for us Catholics that the TRUTH has, is and will continue to be in Jesus Christ, His OWN spoken words in the Gospel of Matthew 16 regarding His One True Church and the Eucharist in John 6:47-59 regarding His TRUE BODY AND BLOOD ----and----in His One (and only)True Apostolic Catholic Church, that Our Lord, historically and biblically gave to us. You, Confriniting can quote (or better yet-misquote) and mis-interpret, one bible verse after another, but that "does not", "can no", "nor ever will" make you a Christian.......... The Devil,(in the 3 temptations of Christ) was "very good at" quoting scripture to Jesus, in Luke 4:1-13. God has not in the past, is not in the present, nor "ever will be" in the future, the author of your bible only Protestant "chaos and confusion" of 42,000+ conflicting and contradicting interpretations of the bible.

My Religion is to be a desciple and follower of Christ in all Truth of his word.
7th Day

I think most of the religous people on here desire to be disciples and followers of Christ in Truth. And each of us understands differently, and serves God according to His Good Pleasure for us.

I don't think any of us has achieved being perfectly virtuous, though we should strive to do so.

My thinking is about those who condemn, and do it continually. Being led by conscience is not necessarily being led by Truth.

Those on this thread that deny Christ..., are just automatically anti-Christs.

Yep - same ol'- same ol'.

The abuser - "be quiet - we can handle it through the Church."

The abused - "I'm too young to really say anything, because I am afraid, but how will being quiet resolve this for others?"

What a bunch of baloney.

No one is attacking the church. They attack the leaders for their LIES, DECEIT, COVERUPS. You don't believe anyone should do that? According to you no one guilty should be accountable and punished?

No one challenges the Bible. Your views added to the Bible..., we know them well.(smile), and challenge them. It always goes back to this with you.

Remember while talking with Nicodemus, Jesus said,

John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

In other words, you don't know who, what, where, when, one is born of the Spirit....

Here is your error, You seem to think, as many Protestants that being born again has to be some very dramatic event, when it can be more quiet than a whisper.

One does not have to go screaming up and down the aisles of a church, or go to an altar call to be born again. It can be done so quietly by God that it is not noticeable. Many virtuous people may be born again is such a way....

Well I cant speak to what Fr. Rob may have meant. However if you are throwing a stone just for the sake of throwing a stone then I would agree. However, if we are to avoid the perception of its a uniquely Catholic issue which is what is portrayed then it is better for everyone to acknowledge the facts. Otherwise isnt failure to acknowledge or take action elsewhere because its only a Catholic issue contribute to the problem? You want to go after the perpetrators alone and not just the insitution then fine. If you want to go after people who listened to psychiatrists fine, but then lets have a universal policy and also psychologists held accountable, police, school administrators etc. So here we have the BBC which mercilessly attacked the church, but when its discovered one of their own abused about 460 children known the head of the BBC knew nothing. He didnt even know anything about the contents of a letter which he hired an attorney to draft.

http://blogs.ssrc.org/tif/2012/07/13/placing-...

A Dutch commission has found that sexual abuse of children after they have been forcibly taken from troubled homes and put into state-funded institutions is common. It estimates around 23 percent of such children are abused - more than three times the national average.

The commission was set up in May 2010 during a similar investigation into Catholic boarding homes.

Chairwoman Rieke Samson said Monday the commission has since received more than 800 complaints, some dating back decades, and referred 42 of them to prosecutors.

The commission found that more than half of abuse came at the hands of other, often older children.

Adult men were the abusers in around two-thirds of the remaining cases, while girls made up two-thirds of victims.
