Lol. I know full well the problems in the Church. I also see full well the frustration in people like you being unable to convince us to lose faith and hope. Keep trying Mike, giving you fits is one of life's little pleasures...
READ SLOWLY.

.....Remember Anthony, its your own church leaders that caused, and created these scandals, not anyone else.

If the church leaders had been doing what they are suppose to be doing, I would be reporting only good news.

Another day, another scandal...

WOW Anthony....you have some anger issues.
Laughing them off is not going to help.
Trust me, a priest cannot help you.
As an ex-Catholic, you need to get over it too. Don't they have some good shrooms in your neck if the woods? Maybe that would help.

Yeah right, non Catholics are never guilty of using a double standard. Your poor parents....

Citation please - of your comparative atatement. One that includes this comparison.
"The Sea of Galilee was known as the Abyss."
Citation please of this "truth" you supply.
"The swine did not decide to run into the Abyss. This was the only place reserved for demons to exist....(Not some invention of mine.)"
- After all,you have stated that it is '(Not some invention of mine.)'
Thanks!
NASL

Fight or flight(citation enough)....The demon infested pigs could not prevail/fight against the Truth, and the demons fled/returned from where they came from, the Sea of Galilee, the Abyss.

Note also while in a storm, the disciples thought they saw a "ghost" walking on the water, when it was Jesus. Beneath the troubled surface was where the demons "lived".

I gave two sites to read concerning Galilee as being the Abyss.

Maybe now you see the analogy of the Titanic going down to the deep cold Atlantic?

I don't think Michael (or others) have ever expressed an interest in trying to convince anyone "to lose faith and hope".
IMO - he (like those others) posts facts that many Catholics refuse to acknowledge as truths, especially when they relate to those known problems and issues which ARE present in the RCC today.
He also agrees that with these problems and issues in the RCC, there are very few followers who have stood up and organized against those involved in those situations.
You and the other so-called "Catholics" as far as I can say (based upon your posts) you don't get involved.
In other words, you support and help pay for the abuse - through your donations and so-called 'service'. Which leads to a point that you have never answered through honesty - that you don't. Those are the semantics that you and many of those followers refuse to admit.
You aren't honest with yourself or with others in these regards.
"to know yourself is to know the kingdom of God." - Jesus
Thankyou.... NASL!

All catholics should read your post, and ask themselves why they too have been so SILENT! when the victims needed them most.

Would you prefer the US constitution and state laws be temporarily suspended and statutes of limitations be lifted retroactively in order to prosecute the perps?
It's none of your business where my 'anger' is. I'm still a faithful Catholic, in spite of your best efforts, and that pisses you off. Get over it. Go have a daiquiri.
I have never instructed you or informed you to leave your faith. What nonsense.

I just posted information to make you clearly aware that all is not well, yet it should be, for an organization that boasts being the advocates of morality and justice and the only set of keys to the kingdom of heaven, yet we know the church leaders do not often practice what they preach.

Now how would you know that unless *you* were always over here? Hmmm?

A friend emailed me during that time and said that I was missed because I hadn't been on this thread for quite awhile. You're a liar, pure and simple. Now leave me alone, take your bile elsewhere.

I say no! So do many others. Why have childish fits of anger Anthony everytime someone disagrees with you?
Do I call you names? No.
I know you say 'no'.

I say 'I don't care what you say, as an ex-Catholic your opinions and suggestions for the Church are meaningless, you should find a more relaxing past time, like paying attention to your wife.'

Cool!! My favorite numbers just popped up (7263)! This must be another great day!
Cheers to all!

Well, coming from someone that is programmed to think absolutely everything is relative, and relatively everything is absolute, I can see your point. But you certainly have a hard time proving anything....

Don't worry about it. You're pro abortion, abortion is legal. You're anti Catholic, the majority of the media, the president and all of academia is too.
When everyone is on your side, why do you feel the need to spend so much time on this board whining about the Catholic Church?
Staying on-topic is not whining.

Posting relevant facts is not whining.

Complaining about anti-Catholics like "the media, the president and all of academia" is a great example of whining.

95% of the world sees the Vatican's absurd lies and immoral acts.

Me too. I stand with abused orphans against a corrupt Goliath.

You ask, "I have stated on here, I do not believe in the trinity, and I was raised a roman catholic. Does that make me ANTI CHRIST in a negative sense?"
Its not a negative comment that I make.(Some people use it in a derogatory way. I am merely stating the obvious.) It is a positive statement. You are an anti-Christ, not believing in the trinity. You stated it. And because you are anti-Christ, you are anti-God....It is the same thing, because you know the doctrine and reject it.
All you need to do is realize it. Then you can move on.
Actually, I don't read your comments very much. I once thought conversing with you I might understand, and you as well. I only responded as you first made a comment to me, and I feel obligated to respond. I skip them as they merely tend to condemn others and God.
Robert.

We all have opinions on EVERYTHING.

Look what is going on right now in your country? Its divided on gun control. Half the country believes you should be able to have any kind of gun you want, the other half want semi-automatic guns removed.

Heated discussions on both sides of the issue. No clear winner will ever be found. Religion is much the same. Every religious belief claims they are the righteous and only way. Not one has the SMOKING GUN OF TRUTH.

No point in getting all upset if for my reasons and my research that I decide to disagree with you. I do not get upset because you have a different belief.

Remember MOST people of faith, were born into it. Not many Muslims have two Islamic sons and two christian sons, as not many catholics have a catholic son and a Muslim daughter. Indoctrination is more about appeasing family-hand-me-down tradition than the actual belief itself.

No point in getting upset. There is no religious belief that will ever convince the other side to come over to their side.

You again avoided your first post and the prophetic statements it made.
Try a little honesty and own what you write.
Wanna try again?
NASL

You called my post prophetic....That it may be. Only time will reveal it.

All I can add is that things will deteriorate more in the U.S., until/unless there is a return to faith in God.

You seem obsessed with my wife. How many times have you mentioned her today? What is going on?

My wife is watching the Barrett-Jackson auction right this minute almost right beside me. Is that OK!

You would miss me if I left this forum. You rarely post to other catholics HOJO or CLAY. Do you really believe you could put up with posting back and forth to Regina M. all day long? No Michael!... I didn't think so!

You, like Mike and Freemind, left the Church long before the abuse scandal came to light. You lost your faith and hope and want us to join you. It's not gonna happen, sorry. Tilt at some other windmill.
