Don't worry about it. You're pro abortion, abortion is legal. You're anti Catholic, the majority of the media, the president and all of academia is too.
When everyone is on your side, why do you feel the need to spend so much time on this board whining about the Catholic Church?
Staying on-topic is not whining.

Posting relevant facts is not whining.

Complaining about anti-Catholics like "the media, the president and all of academia" is a great example of whining.

Now how would you know that unless *you* were always over here? Hmmm?
A friend emailed me during that time and said that I was missed because I hadn't been on this thread for quite awhile. You're a liar, pure and simple. Now leave me alone, take your bile elsewhere.

You ask, "I have stated on here, I do not believe in the trinity, and I was raised a roman catholic. Does that make me ANTI CHRIST in a negative sense?"
Its not a negative comment that I make.(Some people use it in a derogatory way. I am merely stating the obvious.) It is a positive statement. You are an anti-Christ, not believing in the trinity. You stated it. And because you are anti-Christ, you are anti-God....It is the same thing, because you know the doctrine and reject it.
All you need to do is realize it. Then you can move on.
Actually, I don't read your comments very much. I once thought conversing with you I might understand, and you as well. I only responded as you first made a comment to me, and I feel obligated to respond. I skip them as they merely tend to condemn others and God.
Robert.

We all have opinions on EVERYTHING.

Look what is going on right now in your country? Its divided on gun control. Half the country believes you should be able to have any kind of gun you want, the other half want semi-automatic guns removed.

Heated discussions on both sides of the issue. No clear winner will ever be found. Religion is much the same. Every religious belief claims they are the righteous and only way. Not one has the SMOKING GUN OF TRUTH.

No point in getting all upset if for my reasons and my research that I decide to disagree with you. I do not get upset because you have a different belief.

Remember MOST people of faith, were born into it. Not many Muslims have two Islamic sons and two christian sons, as not many catholics have a catholic son and a Muslim daughter. Indoctrination is more about appeasing family-hand-me-down tradition than the actual belief itself.

No point in getting upset. There is no religious belief that will ever convince the other side to come over to their side.

You again avoided your first post and the prophetic statements it made.
Try a little honesty and own what you write.

You called my post prophetic....That it may be. Only time will reveal it.

All I can add is that things will deteriorate more in the U.S., until/unless there is a return to faith in God.

I say no! So do many others. Why have childish fits of anger Anthony everytime someone disagrees with you?
Do I call you names? No.
Why his fits?

Because deep inside, he hates defending the immoral and the absurd.

So he attacks the messenger.

I know you say 'no'.
I say 'I don't care what you say, as an ex-Catholic your opinions and suggestions for the Church are meaningless, you should find a more relaxing past time, like paying attention to your wife.'
You seem obsessed with my wife. How many times have you mentioned her today? What is going on?

My wife is watching the Barrett-Jackson auction right this minute almost right beside me. Is that OK!

You would miss me if I left this forum. You rarely post to other catholics HOJO or CLAY. Do you really believe you could put up with posting back and forth to Regina M. all day long? No Michael!... I didn't think so!

I don't think Michael (or others) have ever expressed an interest in trying to convince anyone "to lose faith and hope".
IMO - he (like those others) posts facts that many Catholics refuse to acknowledge as truths, especially when they relate to those known problems and issues which ARE present in the RCC today.
He also agrees that with these problems and issues in the RCC, there are very few followers who have stood up and organized against those involved in those situations.
You and the other so-called "Catholics" as far as I can say (based upon your posts) you don't get involved.
In other words, you support and help pay for the abuse - through your donations and so-called 'service'. Which leads to a point that you have never answered through honesty - that you don't. Those are the semantics that you and many of those followers refuse to admit.
You aren't honest with yourself or with others in these regards.
"to know yourself is to know the kingdom of God." - Jesus
You, like Mike and Freemind, left the Church long before the abuse scandal came to light. You lost your faith and hope and want us to join you. It's not gonna happen, sorry. Tilt at some other windmill.

.....Remember Anthony, its your own church leaders that caused, and created these scandals, not anyone else.
If the church leaders had been doing what they are suppose to be doing, I would be reporting only good news.
Another day, another scandal...
READ SLOWLY.

I know everything you know about the Church's problems, and much, much more. There is absolutely nothing you've shared that I didn't already know.

The difference is I have faith, hope and charity. You don't.

The creator The Person that made you all made this beautiful world that man has destroyed through sin.
His name Is Yahweh Man Made him A god

Now what is so hard to understand this And I know very well the scripture say's You will cause them to for get my name And the world has.

The dead sea scrolls does not read god it reads YHWH....
And the reason I guess no one Understands this is you have never reverenced Yahweh only A man made God And Also Only A few are called and chosen to even Understand his name. Much less his Laws Of love and peace.

I think your wife would rather you were obsessed with her instead of pedophilia, gay priests and lesbian nuns. Put your laptop down, put your arm around her and give her a kiss. There. My marriage and therapy session is over for you. Have a wonderful evening.

Would you prefer the US constitution and state laws be temporarily suspended and statutes of limitations be lifted retroactively in order to prosecute the perps?
It's none of your business where my 'anger' is. I'm still a faithful Catholic, in spite of your best efforts, and that pisses you off. Get over it. Go have a daiquiri.
Actually Anthony at least 30 states have extended the statute of limitations and I believe 2 did suspend the limitations for a year. In California the Suprem court ruled it unconstitutional. Legislation and lobbying has been fast and furious. Statutes of limitations were put in place for a reason. To allow prosecution of 60 year old cases the information is often so unreliable and dead people are sued.

Its not just the church. However many state legislatures have introduced protections against public schools and teachers while enacting provisions targeting specifically the Catholic Church. SNAP has been criticized by more than a few Protestants and they have stated openly that they believe the Catholic church is being singled out in particular by SNAP. One look at their website and 90% of the comments and that becomes pretty clear. I read an artccle written by A Lutheran not long ago who wrote that abuse cases even ones prosecuted dont make the news like the Catholic Church does and expressed remorse for that. It took what he claimed was many mispresentations against a suit filed against a Lutheran church that never made the news to make him see this.

Lawyers have been fighting hard to eliminate ALL statute of limitations which would unleash a fury of lawsuits and be disastrous for alot of secular groups not just the church. 1 in 6 Americans receive care in a Catholic Hospital in the USA. Many prominent universities would be shutdown and charity organizations would scream to a halt. Many organizations would be bankrupt some never to recover again. Legislatures are well aware of the implications of lifting limitations as states, colleges and public schools and state government in general would be targets of massive amounts of money and force extreme cuts. Nobody has clean hands when it comes to dealing with these things especially if we want to go back 60 years or longer.

I think this is some kind of test. Between the lying protestants (and yes, disciple, you're a protestant) and the angry atheists I'm not sure who needs our prayers and forgiveness the most.

One thing is for certain, they're both being eaten alive by envy.
