People can disagree on what they believe that your church does or doesnt do, but to "confrint" you on your rituals on which they (and I could be included in that also)KNOW NOTHING ABOUT is rediculous to say the least.

Sorry Preston you would be wrong, all my children were baptized catholic's. so I have been to a few catholic church services.
So it is you who doesn't know what they are talking about I was going to turn catholic once.
Why don't you tell Regina the truth about how you really feel about the catholic teachings you hypocrite.
HYPOCRITE????

SEE i KNEW THAT YOU WOULD COME BACK WITH SOME IGNORANT COMMENT.

I was disputing with reggie et al, long before you ever found this forum, yet there is a BIG difference between me and some of you other characters.

I DONT STOOP TO LYING!!!

I have said that I have only been in one catholic church and that was enough for me. I couldnt stand the smell of all of those candles.

the fact remains that km was caughtin her own web of deceitfulness and they called her on it, SO IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN CATHOLIC SERVICES, YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED HER ON IT 2,

instead of backing her up like you are doing and as you done with the false prophet orville.

DONT YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU BACK UP A LIAR, YOU ARE AS GUILTY AS THAT LIAR?

would you back up a person that set a house on fire and killed some little children?

the average person wouldnt and a Christian SHOULDNT.

yet people like you back up a person with a lying tongue, and the bible is very clear as to the danger that is caused by that evil tongue.

that evil tongue has killed more people that all the arsonists that have ever lived.

and FYI, God gave me that a few hours ago. and now I know why.

Why don't you see that these do not matter to the relevance of the teaching.
Remember...the Church taught this dogma BEFORE these miracles. NOT after.
Correction....

"... the Church taught this dogma BEFORE these FRAUDULENT miracles."

The Church took a fine religion and infused it with fraud -- for the purpose of power and money. Before the RCC became a State Religion, it represented the values of Jesus, it helped the poor, etc. Then it became rich and corrupt -- and a lap dog for a secession of rulers.

It defrauded its followers with phony relics and fake indulgences.

No God would ever require such FRAUD from a "one-true" church.

Again you insist that Jesus has zero standards and requires zero accountability for "his church."

I am here to defend Jesus, to defend America, and to save the RCC from itself.

Open your eyes!

Jesus did NOT want a Jesus palace -- adorned with stolen gold, mined by slaves -- all paid for through FRAUD.

Jesus did NOT teach that a religion should own a bank, or use "diplomatic immunity" to avoid accountability.

Read the Bible! What was Jesus' last act as a free man on earth? Hello? Was that just an accident of fate -- or a message?

How absurd can you get?

When did it become a state religion? In what state (country)?
Do you mean a sovereign nation? That just happened last century. At that point the Church attained allot of wealth and influence thru investments etc. Thank God for that because they were able to stare down the Soviet Union now that they became a player on the world stage.

Again, that was only a hundred yrs ago. Now if you're talking about 'state religion' as in, Rome, Sprain and France's governments becoming predominately Catholic - and in some cases like Spain imposing and carrying out an Inquisition to benefit their Monarchy - then yes, I would agree politics and religion shouldn't mix like that.

But keep it real, that has nothin to do with the doctrine and dogma of the Roman Catholic Church. If anyone abused power and sinned while masquerading as Catholics, then they violated the teachings of the Church.

We do it.

There is no mention of wine in John 6: 48-58. If this passage were referring to the Mass, wouldn't wine be mentioned along with the bread?
Do you think you're being responsible by using John 6: 48-58 to cancel out 1Cor 11: 20-29 and many other verses that clearly support Catholic and Orthodox belief?

Good morning Rob. I hope you're having a good Christmas season.

Question: Why doesn't the Church put left over wine in a jar, and store it in the tabernacle?
I sit towards the back allot, and I often miss out on the wine because they run out.

.....Everyone remembers Cardinal Bernard Law of the Arch-diocese of Boston, whose soft-glove treatment of pedophiles ignited the Boston scandal. Cost the archdiocese of Boston $650 MILLION in lawsuits. Thankyou parishioners for your financial support.

Cardinal Law was disgraced and resigned as archbishop in 2002.

In 2004 Cardinal Law was summoned to Rome by the Pope and later in 2004 he was named pastor of a great Roman basilica, Santa Maria Maggiore, with a $10,000 per month salary and a highly influential role in choosing new American bishops.

.....and Catholics accept this joy.

No one gives a damn about the innocent victims and their families. DISGUSTING!

and.... UNBELIEVABLE!

Churches built from the most expensive granite available, precious oak panelling, carved wooden statues from Italy, priceless gold chalices, plush carpeting, the doors locked 155 hours a week, and just down the street poor people living in cardboard boxes in the alley ways.

Is that what Jesus is all about? Is that what we are all about?

I believe if there was a Jesus he would have left the church centuries ago. Why wouldn't he, the church today does not represent what the bible says about him 2,000 years ago.

Jesus was represented as the poorest of the poor. The catholic church today worldwide is the MOST influencial financial real/estate owning empire on the planet.

It was a Mass, the attention is on Christ. He comes first, before the bride and groom or anyone else. They knew it, that's why they chose to have a Mass. I'm sure it would sadden them greatly to know two of their guests were ridiculing their worship of Him, of His command to eat His body and drink His blood. Not very gracious of you to say the least.
So it is gracious for the Nun to demonstrate her religiosity that she could not wait until she knew that she was beyond where she could be seen to empty the chalice.

Could she not have understood that there were those there that were observing her actions that she would offend, and could have been more discreet....

Personally I do not believe in transubstantiation..and neither did most of those that attended...

We were there for a wedding and not necessarily for a religious demonstration by a nun, and to us her actions were not a part of
the ceremony it was a unnecessary detraction.

As observers...We did not see Jesus there..
We saw a person ...
( that was not dressed in a Nuns habit ) taking advantage of the situation to bring attention to themselves in order to prove their own religiosity.

Which to me ....was absolutely out of order...creating a mess... instead of a Mass.

I imagine it has to do with people having consumed from the cup, or perhaps thepossibility of spilling the Eucharist.
.
It is not that it is NEVER done. Just not very often. I have only seen it done once, when I was first ordained, and made a mistake in how much I ought to have consecrated. We had so much "left over" that it was not really possible for the ministers to consume it all right away, and *I* really could not (mebbe 3 years sober back then, and waaaaaayyyyy more cautious than I am now).
.
I was going to use the sacrorium, but the pastor directed that I place all that remained in the tabernacle, and he came back every few hours the rest of the day, and consumed it.
.
I try to gauge how many will receive from the chalice more carefully now, and I'm a lot bett at it.
.
When I'm not sure, we just don't have communion from the chalice.

Don't forget that the Church is also the largest charitable organization in the history of the planet. Doing more everyday for the poor than any other group?

What does Michael do?

Well, he's back on Topix after a few days...so apparently he paid his internet bill. Now, instead of feeding the poor in his city, he gets on Topix and trashes the people who do!!

unbelievable.
