I have no doubt LTM would be more than happy to submit to Islam or be put to death for having a bible which is the current penalty in Saudi Arabia. I am sure she was just fine with planes being flown into the WTC. I have no doubt she would have absolutely no problem at all if she, her parents or children were raped, murdered, tortured, forced to convert or if allowed to exist at all would pay most of your wages for the priveledge of being allowed to exist. I know of course no protestants have a problem with the many in the middle east right now who are being forced to leave to survive.(sarcasm) Well to be fair I am sure ltm is ok with it as long as they are Catholic and as long as it doesnt concern her where she lives. I am sure she would have no problem at all if Israel was wiped off the earth. Yeah she could just go to Saudi Arabia right now and whip out her kjv and show them how its done.
Islam means submission, and not just a passive submission to the book of Islam, the Koran. Submission for the followers of Mohammed means to carry out the will of Allah in history. The Muslim doctrine of the jihad, or holy war, stemmed from the ideas of the prophet himself—that is, that it was Allah’s will for a permanent war to reign until the rule of Islam extended over all the world. Hence Islam’s political domination could be, and was, spread by the sword. This is why Hillaire Belloc predicted almost a century ago that the West could again see a threat from Islam:
“It very nearly destroyed us. It kept up the battle against Christendom actively for a thousand years, and the story is by no means over; the power of Islam may at any moment re-arise”(5)
(5) Hillaire Belloc, The Great Heresies, Chapter Four
But, back to the history. By the second half of the 12th century, the Turks had brandished the sword and were creating considerable hardships for Western pilgrims in the East. Travel was no longer safe for Christian pilgrims without an armed escort, and even then, Christians who managed to return to the West had dreadful tales of persecution to tell.
When the call for a Crusade was finally made by Blessed Pope Urban II at Clermont in 1095, he stressed the outrages suffered by fellow Christians at the hands of the militant Muslims:
“They [the Muslim Turks] have invaded the lands of those Christians and have depopulated them by the sword, pillage and fire; they have led away a part of the captives into their own country, and a part they have destroyed by cruel tortures .… They circumcise the Christians, and the blood of the circumcision they either spread upon the altars or pour into the vases of the baptismal font. When they wish to torture people by a base death, they perforate their navels, and dragging forth the extremity of the intestines, bind it to a stake; then with flogging they lead the victim around until the viscera having gushed forth the victim falls prostrate upon the ground. Others they bind to a post and pierce with arrows. Others they compel to extend their necks and then, attacking them with naked swords, attempt to cut through the neck with a single blow. What shall I say of the abominable rape of the women? To speak of it is worse than to be silent .… On whom therefore is the labor of avenging these wrongs and of recovering this territory incumbent, if not upon you?”(6)

Notre Dame 22 USC 13 Catholics win again!

I feel so much better now that with any nation or ecclesiastical union with a protestant at the helm their will be no more war or evil anywhere. No Protestant has any part in any war its just their representatives and everyone can just sit back and watch everything happen. Then again their will be lots of Protestant popes with far more authority than any pope has ever had, but they will have had no part at all in anything done wrong by anyone. Its just those Catholics. lol

It would be good for you to do some normal research on it. In fact, learn what an INQUISITION actually is!!
Right now, you know nothing. Tomorrow, come back and talk about it. Be sure to read about the Protestants who also conducted Inquisitions to root out members who went against their religion.
And if you're tallying up a body count, you'll see that the Protestants far outnumber the Catholics in committing murder.
Clay your last sentence here is full of baloney. Prots cannot be blamed for the murder and expulsion of Jews in Catholic dominated Europe for Centuries,so the fact that you decide Prots outnumber Catholics in being murderers is wrong, and impossible.Even though the British Anglicans killed many Catholics, funny they were Catholics too weren't they?of course you don't believe that;but the anglicans were just one country, but the rest of Europe had political ambitions and enterprises in many countries.Spanish and Portuguese Catholics wasted no time in humbling Aztec and Incas of Central and South America, with much murder and massacres.Portuguese Catholics humbled greatly the native populations in Brazil as well.

Your sentence has no proof of which group Catholic or Protestant committed the most atrocities. It seems the Protestant Reformers learned well from their Catholic parents. So any carnage from them is inherited to say the least. Human beings sin,and give in at times to the worst diabolical influences.

Obama is a globalist liberal socialist,he hates Christianity and has proven that.He unbelievably associates himself with Chrstian faith, and at the same time jabs it with unrelenting fervor. He also stated that he was a Muslim as well.So Obama is not a protestant who does not believe in war,as prots in this country no doubt have been behind many moves toward entering war with other nations.

Look at your church history, wars and rumors of wars should have been their Mission statement.

As I said, "YOU really need to look at the history of Protestant persecution and you really have no clue at all in how badly Jews wanted to destroy the Church and what they did. Furthermore you have no clue as to how it has always been a part of the Church to protect them. Yes, that is a fact! The Pope didnt write the Jews and their lies. The Nazis began their roundup of Jews on Luthers Birthday! The death tolls are a reality! We of course all know Protestants had nothing to do with what many would call genocide of Native Americans nor your many witch burnings. There is plenty of bloodshed to go around. and Protestants who point fingers have many pointing right back. However its not hard to make a valid argument that Protestants killing Catholics, Jews, and other Protestants is by no means smaller. Luthers wholesale slaughter of Peasants was no small beginning.
Queen Elizabeth was merciless!
In 1844 in Philadelphia, the "city of brotherly love," Protestants besieged Catholic neighborhoods with cannon fire and pistols, and also set houses aflame, because the Catholics had protested the use of the Protestant's King James Bible in public schools. Martial law was declared, and it took two thousand federal troops to quell the rioting; eighteen people were killed and scores more were injured.
- Michael Feldberg, The Philadelphia Riots of 1844: A Study of Ethnic Conflicts
On May 4, 1535, in London, three Carthusian monks and one Bridgettine monk were hanged until partially conscious. Then their bellies were cut open, their intestines wrenched out and tossed on a fire, and their hearts ripped out by hand. The bodies were beheaded and quartered, and the pieces were posted at various locations throughout England. As the executioner slit open his belly, John Houghton, prior of the London Carthusian monastery, said, "O most holy Jesus, have mercy upon me in this hour." This was the punishment for treason in sixteenth-century England. Their crime? Refusal to recognize "the king, our sovereign, to be the supreme head of the Church of England afore the Apostles of Christ's Church."
CHRISTIAN HISTORY, Issue 48 (Volume XIV, Number 4)
Persecution, including death penalties for heresy, is not just a Catholic failing. It is clearly also a Protestant one, and a general "blind spot" of the Middle Ages, much like abortion is in our own supposedly "enlightened" age. Furthermore, it is an outright lie to assert that Protestantism in its initial appearance, advocated tolerance. The evidence thus far presented refutes this notion beyond any reasonable doubt.

A 32-year-old Catholic woman was beaten to death after she refused to enter an evangelical church in northeastern Brazil. She was passing by the Church of the Kingdom of God when two pastors ordered their followers to bring her inside to attend a ceremony. When she refused, the group held her ten-year-old daughter while the pastors dragged her by the hair and beat her in order to "exorcise the devil from her."

Oh, I though wars and rumors of war was Protestants killing each other over faith issues not land or other. Oh well..Actually I think Protestants have sufficiently divided, weakened and confused Christianity to the point of uncerstainty for so many they have walked away. There is no authority other than your personal opinion. Quarreling as Paul said turns people away. Muslims and atheists love it! You can make it up as you go along in Protestantism. Nothing is certain, noone can know any truth lest their opinion make it so. Chaous and anarchy. It was never so from the beginning.

well guess what, they couldnt find one and they refuse to leave.

but if they had one, I would have left.

and since I know the Bible pretty well, for the sda to use the Name of God instead of Jesus, I would ,like everyone else, have never seen His face. just goes to show how stupid you people that are against me are.

Pope says christianity has made a miscalculation of important events and dates.
1) There is no basis for historical fact of the birth year of Jesus.
2) There is no basis for hsitorcal fact of December 25
3) There is no basis for historical fact of farm animals in the nativity scene that all catholics originally believed and practiced.
What is coming down the pipe next Clay?
Clay says......did read the article. Sorry man, there was nothing shocking in it. I don't know what to tell you mike. I never once thought the Church (or anyone) could possibly know the exact yr Christ was born.
Michael says....
Don't know the birthday and year of the most important man in christianity? Don't know what he did for a living to support himself? Don't even know what this man looked like? Don't know the dates of the crucixion and resurrection yet christians claim these to be the MOST IMPORTANT dates on their calendar? How can you say you know Jesus when you don't know anything about him?
Clay says.......how could anyone know the exact year?
Michael says......Julius Cesaer we know plenty!
) Born July 100 BC in Subura Rome
) Died March 15, 44 BC. age 55.
) We know what he did for a living.
4) We know what he looked like as we still have coins today that depict his image.
5) Many Mulitiple sources of information about this man.
----------
Jesus we know nothing! really!
You tell me what I posted that upsets you? I posted the truth. How can the truth upset you so?
If I may?

I researched a few years ago on how people lived back in Christ time and what kind of houses they lived in.

The kind of houses they lived in were two stories.

They had the upper room that they lived in.
On the bottom level, they actually kept their best animals there.
Because they were afraid someone would steal them.
Mostly lambs that they used for sacrifice.
So,it is possible that animals could have been in the same room that Jesus was born in.

I tend to think that it was in one of those bottom levels of a home that Jesus was born.
There would have been a manger there.

More than likely,a woman living in the home would be a midwife and was there to help with delivering baby Jesus.

Who knows? It could have been one of Josephs families homes they were staying.

That's just my opinion, going by the research on how people lived back then.
