How dumb are you anyway? Unclean describes an unsaved person. An unsaved person would still have sin and therefore could not enter heaven. The blood of Jesus cleanses born again believers from ALL sin. No need for a make-believe place called purgatory. We are CLEAN!!! We go directly to heaven. Absent from the body and present with the Lord.
II Corinthians 5:6-8, 6 "So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."
Philippians l:23 "For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better."
Eh old G, I must be really dumb. Probably not quite as dumb as the folks who believe that you actually were called by God!

The use of the word infer is to come to reasoned conclusions. This process along with faith makes one a believer and part of the faithful in Jesus Christ...So this is where it ends, in Jesus Christ....
I checked my Bible and never found the word "infer". Are you suggesting you have come to a reasonable conclusion when you "infer" transubstantiation, praying for the dead, the assumption of Mary, the perpetual virginity of Mary, confession to a priest, salvation by baptism, a sinless Mary, penance, popes, indulgences, making the sign of the cross, holy water, Mary
co-redeemer, Mary co-mediator, purgatory, lent, celibacy, rosary, seven sacraments and it goes on and on and on and on and on and on.

my time in basic training, i had good scores in PT, was already a trained medic even tho I didnt attend Ft Sam, I was just what they were looking for except airborn training.

get out of that unbelieving cult and take what's been afforded you through Christ!
Ok, fine. You win, I will leave the Catholic Church.
But where do I go? I have 3 or 4 self proclaimed ministers on here to choose from.(as well as 41,000 other denominations)
When Catholics aren't on here, these pastors argue amongst themselves about the directions to salvation.
I want to go to Heaven, so I am going to want to subscribe to whoever is speaking the truth.
Which one is it? Old G? Nah I really really doubt that...he resembles nothing like the Christ he claims to follow.
Confront? Nah, playing with snakes scares me and that tongue talking is creepy.
So who is it? Or should i just form my own Church now that i have been freed from Catholicism?

Poor clay. Evidently you do not believe the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin.

As far as victims are concerned. The Roman Catholic church is responsible for the damnation of millions upon millions of people who believed they were heaven bound only to wake up in hell next to their pope.

Preach? The life I live does the preaching for me. Thank you very much.

What on Earth would make you think everything about Jesus and Christianity is found in the Bible?

Im searching mine, and i can't find where Jesus ordered His followers to create a New Testament Bible and follow it word for word?
Help me out Deacon. I need to be saved, but you guys don't seem to be making any sense.

Greetings OldJG good friend

Quotes are from Fides et Ratio(Faith and Reason)

"Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth—in a word, to know himself—so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves (cf. Ex 33:18; Ps 27:8-9; 63:2-3; Jn 14:8; 1 Jn 3:2)."

If one cannot use (infer) reason, the Jesus Christ, the fullness of Truth, will not be desired in the human heart....

"The desire for truth, therefore, spurs reason always to go further; indeed, it is as if reason were overwhelmed to see that it can always go beyond what it has already achieved."

So my answer is, "Yes." It is a reasonable conclusion for all that you mentioned....

Just as faith without works is dead(James), similarly faith without reason is blind faith....And so the RCC has helped the believer to desire in the heart, and to contemplate on Jesus Christ, the Truth....

BNope - in the contrary - "God" decided to wait until 1945 to have someone uncover these texts to show the world how wrong the men in 325 and beyond were.

You had it backwards.

I don't own any "god".....nor do I know what he/she can and cannot do.

Only so-called "Christians" think they do.

Not at all. And neither do you need "special glasses" - as you like to think.

Why would you even think that would be the case? Did someone tell you that you did? They lied to you.

"He" is?

I doubt that.

I think you are delusional if you think you know the size of "God".

And what side is that?

If you research the Dead Sea Scrolls, there is only two sides of the "scene" you purpose - "The Sons of Light" and "The Sons of Darkness".

I've already voluntarily signed up on the "Sons of Light" side, so you must be thinking of some other game men decided upon.

I'm happy where I am at.

Thanks anyhow.

I think you are confused.

If you were to sit in a room and did nothing to receive this "faith" or "reason" then, I would have to somewhat agree that you rcvd it "spiritually", but that just doesn't happen.

More than likely, >>YOU<< took certain steps to attain the knowledge you have....and I know darn well, it didn't just come to you on a silver cloud from "above".

So no - your reasoning is lacking honesty.

I asked you a fair question.

So what you are saying is that God chose you to be roman catholic? Is that what you are saying?

What part of the world one is born into, or resides in more often than not can determine what religion one belongs to and how and what God one worships.

thats the truth..........whats with silliness comment?

tell me what I posted is incorrect?
