So if I saw Jesus in a vision and told the whole world about it, will you believe me that it is true?

Seeing someone in a vision versus a physical face-to-face encounter are two totally different experiences.

2nd Corinthians

Chapter 12
1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago,(whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

3 And I knew such a man,(whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.

6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

I don't expect you to believe their witness, but please don't tell me it wasn't true.
Like I stasted to KayMarie - "I don't dispute you had a NDE"

I do believe many people experience this phenomenon.

And Science is now entering the investigation.

In fact, Dr. Raymond Moody Jr's first book "Life after Life" -@1976 puts this phenomenon to paper to show the similarities and not-so similar aspects that many people have had.

http://www.lifeafterlife.com/AboutRaymondMood...
http://www.amazon.com/Life-After-Raymond-Jr-M...

Within this book he also writes about how certain folks, when present of a dying loved one, have experienced a similar NDE experience, but in a waking state.

So, no, I don't dispute NDEs, they do occur.

My search involves, why they occur, and if this phenomenon is an actual transistion from this world to another.

If this truly is what happens to us, then no religion is required, and everyone will experience a siomilar scenario when they die.

That is my point and argument - one does not need a particular organization to achieve this automatic change.

You know full well what you meant.
Here's the REST OF THE STORY;
Hey, Regina, how do you like those priests? We hear you go to confession and get bent over a pew.
Is this correct?
>>>>They said bent over because >>>your backside out shines your frontside
There is no other meaning for what you said.
If there is,as a child of God,you should be able to explain your comment.
Another thing, that verse on the other forum was not speaking of a
hetrosexual woman and her husband.
"1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women (((did change the natural use)
>>>> into that which is against nature:
READ ON DUDE>>> 1:27 (((And likewise)))>> also the men,
leaving >>>>((the natural use of the woman)),
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Now,what is against nature?
Women lying with women and men lying with men.
Hey, Saint Full of Love, part of the post IS mine. The part about the sodomites and lesbians is not mine. Check again and make sure your sources are as righteous as you seem to find yourself.

Funny how you beleive "Paul" even when he is unsure about the experience, over Jesus explicitly saying:

"to know yourself is to know the kingdom of God"

You do have a peculiar priority of placing "Pauls' visions in a more important place than what Jesus stated.

Why?

What kind of message are you sending?
No wonder the Catholics don't take you serious.
You need your mouth washed out with soap.
Chew on it a long time.
I thought you were a child of God.
Do you think that God would be pleased with the names your calling people?
First, I am not your buddy.

What kind of message? The same message I received.

Don't use the word catholic when referring to the Roman Catholic's on this forum. It is not the same animal.

I need my mouth washed out with soap? You need your brain washed and removed from the gutter where your imagination is running wild.

Without any shadow of any doubt I am a child of the King.

Finally, do you think God is pleased when you sin Saint Full of Self? Cast the stone if you like it matters not.

Another self righteous statement from the Roman. The bullet in his temple? Does that have a meaning to the Roman Catholics? If he took his own life is he condemned to hell? What, by you?

what are you peddling now?

"to know yourself is to know the kingdom of God"

Jesus never said that, and it doesn't fit with the gospel which isn't about 'self'.

Something like to have the spirit of God is to know the kingdom of God would be more accurate.

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I am found was blind but now I see.
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear, and Grace my fears reliefed, how precious did that Grace appear the hour I first believed.

'PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD.'

Down at Your feet, Oh Lord
Is the most high place
In Your presence, Lord
I seek Your face, I seek your face

Chorus
There is no higher calling no greater honor
Than to bow and kneel before Your throne
I'm amazed at Your glory, embraced by Your mercy
Oh Lord, I live to worship You

Down at Your feet, Oh Lord
Is the most high place
In Your presence, Lord
We seek Your face, we seek your face

ITB, what happened? Cat got your tongue? Or is there something in your mouth? Which is it?

You were talking to a woman about her and her husbands sexual life.

That was nasty talk.

Can you honestly say that Jesus would use the words that you used in the above post?

There were more than these but I see no need to bring them over here.

Great Greasy Gravy! What nasty garbage mouth words from OldJG!

And here all along OldJG is lying to everyone about him being a christian?
Now the truth comes out.

No christian would say things like that potty mouth trash, and OldJG has been found out as no christian at all.

give it ceredit for being deeper than that. So Hitler says I believe Christ died for our sins. OK He said the words. No he doesnt go to heaven.First does Hitler even believe he did sin? Does he believe that He needs forgicveness?Does he have the right attitude, the right heart, the right "metanoia". The heart has to match the words. Now if Hitler in his last days, it hit him, what he did,who Christ is, his need for forgiveness, and prayed to Christ for His salvation, yes e may make it into heavven
Lets assume Hitler did exactly that. Realized the horror of what he had done, saw Jesus as his savior, prayed for forgiveness and salvation, and indeed went to heaven. Now here I am, a loving father, never doing harm to anyone, going out of my way to do the right thing and to treat people with kindness, and because I can't believe in God, for whatever reason, I am the one condemned to eternal torture. Hitler murdered millions, caused untold misery and horror, Outside of the inquisition, was responsible for some of the most horrific tortures, but because he was "saved" get to enjoy eternal bliss. Meanwhile I spend eternity in lakes of fire, tortured beyond anything anyone can imagine, I my suffering will never end. This seems just to you? This is what your God considers justice, caring, love, compassion? Really?

okay Herme....you are starting to come around to the Herme we knew.
Does it really matter where hostility is seen? Why would one even acknowledge it?
If one finds hostility interesting, what is the benefit with acknowledging it? Why not just disregard or refute it?
But to find it interesting, as you stated, gives a perception you do find comfort in looking for it. This is why I say it is 'odd'.
Just because "bl" had an opinion - direct, hostile or whatever, maybe he said in the way he did to make a point? I didn't see you ask for clarification of his post, so a conclusion was made, by yourself, to approach it in this manner without ensuring the point was relevant.[BTW - those decisions would be Self].
So you can see my point. A conclusion by someone, may be accurate and it very well may not be. But honestly, it is only perceived it either way by an individual, if they only allow those choices to be present.
We'll have to agree to disagree, as we both could voice opinions upon this all day long, and really never get anywhere.
Cheers!
I am sorry for being such a jerk.I see your point.I was not clear. Iam not just saying this. I see your point.Talk about being a jerk, I was diagnosing lagoon over the internet,I guestt I am that jackass that talked in the Bible. Now you have your proof.
