i agree. I truly think if there was ZERO religion in the world, no one would be hungry or poor. Poverty and Hunger come as a result of resources wasted and hoarded by religious glory and money-hogs

i have to say that the whole idea of the church being so powerful and financially motivated, yet they are the same ones preaching humility, chastity and poverty is very hypocritical to me.

Jewel, it's true that if there was no religion, maybe we wouldn't have hungry people on earth

Yes Lovesgays.

I dont think so too. They preach all that nonsense so that they can get money from innocent followers and believers.
And to think some people give 90% of their money to them in the name of charity and "doing good".

Could you imagine the revenue generated if churches were taxed like any other business. I'm surprised that Barry hasn't thought of this yet.

yes. am sure the additional money that we would have annually from taxing religious organizations would go a long way in addressing the needs of disaster victims among others in need

the B*tch is still talking to itself.LOOOOOL!

well, anyway, Hunglo is right about Churches being taxed in order to generate enough revenue for the society, especially the needy ones.
It's not fair when people try so hard to make ends meet and these reigious b*stards eat it all in the name of "offerings".

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, come and see.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword (war),and with hunger, and with death, and with the beast of the earth.

i second Rogue that govt leaders are also gaining something financial from lack of religious tax on offerings and other religious funds.

For sure they do not want poverty to end coz it means they will LOSE power over the residents.

Poverty is something bad and in fact, there is a demon responsible for poverty.
i forget his name but he brings destitution wherever he hovers.

Unfortunately, political and religious leaders have created a system where the resients NEVER stand a chance of bettering their lives.

As long as they are struggling, poor and needy, they will always 'need' their leaders to 'save' them.

Gosh! this is so pathetic.Makes me want to vomit!!

I believe govt leaders also gain from the non-taxable religious revenue made.
That's why they insist it should not be taxed.Otherwise, they would have taxed it by now
Religion is not taxed because the party that tries it would never win another office.

These stories will do nothing but lead humans to self-extinction.
"Revelations" is really a manual for humankind's last resort of a mass murder-suicide called "Operation Jesus has Returned".
"Revelations" is teaching the homo sapien species how to kill itself off.
STOP reading revelations, you're learning how to commit suicide.
Yes I woke up, I understand religon, goverment, things that were , the things that will be. No I don't know it all I'm still learning.

I second u on that. They have to be psychotic if they can actually do such things to others and be completely insensitive as to the needs and cries of their own people.
They shamelessly lead others astray and are still able to sleep at night.

Oh Rogue is so right. This is not fair at all on us residents.

However, that's where there is a place called HELL!
It was designed and made to imprison souls like these selfish, greedy leaders that never get enough and jeopardize everyone else's life
