Full story: CNN

Where does the battle for health care reform go from here? More importantly, what does it mean for you? Democrats made history over the weekend when the House of Representatives approved the biggest expansion of medical coverage since Medicare was enacted over four decades ago.

This is a great day for the people of America! Mind you, it doesn't matter very much what the final bill looks like. We have been waiting for a rational health system for decades and the Republicans have blocked it every step of the way, more concerned about their political contributors than the people of the country. Once we have something we can get the rest and the conservatives can be seen by all as the people who tried to keep us from getting it.

Cite a single statement that Obama made in any of his writings or any of his speeches in which he expresses anything resembling idolization of communists. Just one.

Do you idolize everyone you know? I know rather a lot of people and I don't idolize any of them. Taking campaign help or money from someone doesn't mean that you idolize them; it doesn't even mean you like them. You'll have to do better than that or admit you made an error in writing, which would be the manly thing to do.

I love the headline.

"Reform".

That word is meaningless, if the bill that passed the House is called 'reform'.

Its like calling war- peace.

Well, they do that now, don't they?

For reform to occur, the government needs to get OUT of the way, the consumer needs more control of his/her dollars, for when someone is spending their OWN money, they are much more careful and prices will be driven down.

Nonsense. If you believe that the rest isn't worth reading. You are entitled to your opinion but you are not entitled to your own facts.

Hopefully the Senate will have more brain power than the Pelosi led sheep in the House. This health bill as written is garbage and anybody who voted for it needs to be voted out of office.

Pages 90-96 of the House bill just passed in the dark of night will have those making 44k see 17%of their adjusted gross income for paying for health insurance. Those making over 44k will be paying 20% of adjusted gross. Of course this is only one of the many hidden time bombs. Oh by the way, the 17%/20% taking of you agi will be in addition to the increase of up to 40% income tax because of the Bush tax relief being allowed to end and a change in the tax rate. Add in all other taxes state and local then decide how are you going to survive. Anyone voting for the health plan need to be voted out. Why rebuild a house just to fix a leak in the bath tub? That's what the House bill is doing.

<quoted text>why not show the birth certificate and the records if they do not say the world "muslim" on them and why did he have a freudian slip when talking to George Stephanopolis and say "my muslim faith".to which George said "Your Christian faith" and Obama said "my Christian faith"...Obama is a muslim..
Give it up.
Just for the sake of argument, if you had a birth certificate with the work "Jewish" on it what would it mean? Not a thing as far as I can see. He has produced adequate identification, published it in Newsweek, and told his life story. I think that about does it.
Give it up.
You won't overturn the election on that slim reed. As it is you can have endless fun concocting every more bizarre claims.

<quoted text>so why no records of any kind from a birth certificate to school records???? what is the big secret???
the more I see him being an AntiAmerican,, more a dictator than anything else,,, the more I know that he thinks he is the mahdi..
he is purposefully destroying America and that can only be for the sake of islam..the global caliphate.. and remember, you heard it here first..I have been right about this guy since the day I laid eyes on him..it is GUTT instinct for some of us to be able to tell when people are EVIL
Probably because those records are private records and cannot be made public without his consent and he chooses not to give it. You cannot, in America, assume that a man who chooses to use his rights is doing anything wrong.

As to all this nonsense about him being a Muslim, I strongly suggest forgetting all about it. He isn't. You are not right about him, you are self deluded, perhaps, of just mistaken. Have a little humility and just say you don't know.

All this "birther" stuff is just sour grapes. He won. Your man lost. Time to get back to work.

<quoted text>prior to George Soros and his money buying off the media,, a man who refused to give ANY information about himself would not have been given the nomination for his party.. I want you to think long and hard about how last falls election was manipulated by the media and by George Soros and Jeffrey Immelt.. I want you to realize that those people have disdain for America.. why did they who blame America for everything want Obama, a man who should not have even been on the ballot because of his mysterious past and also because he had ZERO experience and qualifications... why did he get their support???
They are purposefully destroying America... your country and mine.. that makes them your enemy as well as mine.. next year when taxes go higher and energy costs sky rocket... but there are still no jobs,,,what are you going to do??? will you finally be angry that your perfectly great country was purposefully destroyed for Obama and his anti American special interests?? when are you going to wake up? They have no good intentions for America.
That may be, but following the Republican philosophy of "vote for me and I'll cut your taxes but I won't stop my spending" simply could not continue. Factories were being moved to China and elsewhere under Bush and other administrations. You are so anxious to blame everything on the black man you lose all perspective.

<quoted text>no,,, I knew who Obama was before he got elected.. by reading his own books.. so,, I blamed him for planning on destroying America and I have been warning people about what his plans were all along.. how I wish to GOD that I would have been wrong... but no.. he is our enemy within
So you read his book and concluded that he was intent of destroying the USA? Maybe you should see a professional.

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
