$91 billion dollars? does the bush have a mint going some where ? or does he plan on taking the money from the American children who is starving or the seniors who worked hard to help preserve America. Now if he gets the money we can watch the rest of our sons ,fathers and brotherdie. I call it the bush birth control method. How expensive is that.

"On September 10, 2001, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld held a press conference to disclose that over $2,000,000,000,000 in Pentagon funds could not be accounted for. Rumsfeld stated: "According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions." According to a report by the Inspector General, the Pentagon cannot account for 25 percent of what it spends. 1 Â 2 Â Such a disclosure normally might have sparked a huge scandal. However, the commencement of the attack on New York City and Washington in the morning would assure that the story remained buried...

Did you know: the Iraq and Afghanistan "wars" have cost the U.S.$4 Trillion (Harvard Kennedy School study). Recently, I read a 1967 column by Art Buchwald in which he estimated that it cost $323,000 to kill one enemy combatant in Vietnam--and that the U.S. would be better off to offer Viet Cong defectors "a $25,000 house, a color tv, free education for their children and a paid-up country club membership."

So, I decided to try to figure out what it has cost the U.S. to capture or kill each terrorist who took part in 9/11--here are the numbers:

if there were 100 terrorists who committed 9/11, then it cost $40 Billion per terrorist

if there were 1,000 terrorists who committed 9/11, then it cost $4 Billion per terrorist

if there were 100,000 terrorists who committed 9/11, then it cost $40 Million per terrorist

note: the total cost of the Iraq/Afghanistan "wars" are expected to exceed $6 TRILLION (the $4 trillion is what we have spent so far and does not include long-term veteran's benefits/healthcare...nor does it include increases in funding for the NSA, CIA, FBI, etc etc etc)...nor does it include the most important statistic: number of human lives lost.

"The essential act of war is destruction, not necessarily of human lives, but of the products of human labour. War is a way of shattering to pieces, or pouring into the stratosphere, or sinking in the depths of the sea, materials which might otherwise be used to make the masses too comfortable, and hence, in the long run, too intelligent. Even when weapons of war are not actually destroyed, their manufacture is still a convenient way of expending labour power without producing anything that can be consumed. A Floating Fortress, for example, has locked up in it the labour that would build several hundred cargo-ships. Ultimately it is scrapped as obsolete, never having brought any material benefit to anybody, and with further enormous labours another Floating Fortress is built. In principle the war effort is always so planned as to eat up any surplus that might exist after meeting the bare needs of the population."

Yeah, we've spent an additional $1,0000 Billion dollars on the two wars since Obama has been in office, so it's kind of redundant to discuss some proposed nickle and dime spending request from way back in 2006.
