Atheism requires as much faith as religion? bearvspuma : The only problem with this rationalization is that ita s assuming all athiests are so because theya re intelligent in the ways of science and reasoning and all people that believe in a form of god are unintelligent.

If you are an expert, then you know there is no constitutional right to privacy, no separation of church and state, and the incorporation doctrine is bull shit.
All on which you have argued the opposite.
It suggests to me you are not an expert. You are one of those "living document" guys.
"Living document" meaning the document means anything the court says it means at a particular moment.
Which therefore means there is no Constitution.
You will understand my skepticism of such an expert.
The Constitution contains fundamental principles.

Times change. When it was written, there was no wiretapping. No air surveillance. No heat detectors.

We must look at the language in the Constitution, analyze the reason for the language, and apply that reasoned language to the current world.

And our founding fathers set up a Supreme court, as part of the judiciary, intended principally for that purpose: To interpret that language .

Sometimes we agree with the Supreme Court's interpretations, and sometimes not (for me, for example, the holding that corporations are "persons"; for you, probably most of the decisions that have resulted in civil rights for categories of people, most often minorities but not always--women for example).

OK, that's it. You don't have to respond; I know exactly what you're going to lamely plead for; I've heard it already: You just want to read the 1770s words in a technical fashion, and pretend we're still running around holding muskets.

That's what Topix atheists say about the word "atheism".
And what liberal justices say about the Constitution.
Justice Souter says he knows more about what the authors meant than they did when they wrote it.
I don't know if Souter is Humpty Dumpty. One of those fat lesbos Obama appointed look more like it.
Souter does know more. He must because the authors aren't here to refute it.

Just like I know more about the Bible than the authors did.

Metaphorically speaking, of course.

You owe all of us, but especially Happy Lesbo, an apology for that last statement.

I'm too mad right now to give you a good response.

You'll have to wait.

How long may depend on whether you apologize to Happy Lesbo.

You said you didn't have a belief system.
...that didn't last long.
If by belief system you include standing for the rights of groups suffering from discrimination, yes, of course I have a belief system.

That's totally apart from atheism. Here's a principle for you, Buck:

Correlation does not imply causation.

Now apologize to Happy Lesbo, or we'll have to fix a squarin' off place.

That explains a lot.
So if you have something I wrote, and I'm not here to defend it, you know more about what I meant than I knew when I wrote it.
You might be Supreme Court material. Seeing as how you are batshit crazy.
Not necessarily more about what you meant about your understanding of the subject, just more about the subject that you meant to understand.

You might be 9th grade sociology material or you could get a football scholarship.

That's the markup, Dave.

I can get it to for a lot less than that. Better shit, too.

It has already been explained to you why he was fired.

You're providing a good example of how faith based thinking really isn't thinking at all.

Maybe, the Christians got it right on the God thing. What they didn't know that is there is intelligent life right and God manifested himself in another way than us.
And there is millions of our civilizations among this universe and millions of ways God revealed himslf to them
But see it was none of business to know how he did it. It is beyond our feeble little minds. Us humans think we are terminally unique. Guess what. We are not. We are little specks in the infinite, large cosmos.
I will leave the atheist alone, if he/she will leave me and my family alone. It is our freedom to do what we want, and I do not want them up in my face screaming. If they do then I will take up for myself. This is in retaliation for what a dude on here said to me in person. I know who you are and you know who I really am. Atheist crack me up! Tell us Mister atheist, what is the basis of any belief in an atheist universe? Is there something like free will in this purposeless cause and effect chain of a cosmos? And where does human thought come from? Is it material or immaterial? If it is immaterial, then can immaterial things be real?
Aren't all our thoughts simply the result of electrochemical processes in the physical brain? If so, then all your thoughts, including those posted here, are ultimately predetermined by the temps and trajectory of material particles starting at the Big Bang. You think your atheist thoughts (and I my Christian thoughts) because that is what blind unconscious material forces produced.

Yet here you were, an atheist, talking as if there really was a God just for the attentions of a beautiful woman. But we know how you talked when she was not around. If you did get her, would you try to change her with violence and force? I know for a fact that she attends Church every weekend. What a riot you are!

Anyone who relied on that information for a description of ID would not only have no clue what it is, they would suffer an informational deficit, because the entries are lies.
ID offers no cosmological argument, to my knowledge. It concerns itself with the evolution of biological diversity.
It is neither "anti-evolution" nor "creationist".
