Psalms 23 while at first sounds sweet it's actually pretty dark and twisted!

The poem talks about god treating him like a sheep that he must unquestioning follow this god and if he does all will be great. It teaches people to abandon reason and their inquiring mind and instead like a sheep just blindly bleat along.

And we all know how awesome the so called writer David's story ended! Lol!

You need to prove the god you claim is possible / are lying about before using long words you don't understand.

No. But I can't provide sufficient evidence showing that Q is a fictional character from a fictional television show. Do you have a point?
Then Q and your Jesus are in the exact same category.

Thank you for conceding to my nearly flawless logic. The "insult" is the first tool used by the defeated.

In other words, you were wrong and unable to even come up with a good lie to counter it. Thank you for your concession.

Well to be honest Q is more interesting, intelligent and by for more kind than Jesus ever was.

Reality is what exists even if you don't believe in it. The question 'whose reality' betrays a lack of understanding of what 'reality' means.

That leaves you with what then?
Chemistry, physics, geology, mathematics, biology, astronomy, tables, chairs, computers, cars, televisions, friends, family, my job, theater, plays, music, mountains, oceans, stars, galaxies, planets, nebulae, literature,...

You get the idea....reality.

Skeptics as your self indeed feel and think they have no need of anything or anyone to help them along, but in all reality as the Bibls says, " we all have like sheep gone astray "... Thats a profound statement indeed..

See ''each'' of us is living out a story of our own, and the ending of it is gonna be revealed to us, well for some we have done been shown our ending but they are those who choose not to believe it... Now since you (are not 100%) sure God doesnt exist, it would be safe to say that you would have needed a shepherd to lead you in this life as well.

See? You didn't understand.

I never compared emotions to God.

I compared the impossibility of proving either - especially on a forum like this.

I do no believe in god, I reject the theory's poorly crafted assertion.
Until we have observable proof that god is indeed real it is logical to assume he is the by product of ancient people's attempt to explain what they didn't understand.
Sorry I know you have been programmed to bleat your assertion free of any corroborating evidence and then wail for others to prove it wrong. But in the real world that doesn't work.
Provide proof for your assertion or people of reason have no cause to believe.
<quoted text>
Ok, so you can't prove God is a "work of fiction", it's your opinion that He is.

That's fine, GLM. You're entitled to your beliefs.

I have already demonstrated much half wit. You are seriously claiming in ancient times the message of Jesus was not proselytized?
Time for you to once back up your assertion. Show this to be true.
Go.
<quoted text>
The only thing you demonstrated is your ability to construct a paragraph. You offered no evidence for any of your assertions. So, again:

You're gonna hafta demonstrate that they did, in 'ancient times', stand on the streets, tell others stories, told stories dramatically,'meant' to entertain, and acted dramas.

Then you're gonna hafta demonstrate that did in fact spread the word of Jesus.

The dune buggy scene was lame. Why use a dune buggy which is open to danger when you have a perfectly good shuttle with phasers to use? Because they thought it would look cool?
Okay that's fine but at least have there be a reason to use the damn thing!
I never understood why in the movies Captain Picard becomes this violent blood thirsty guy when in the show he is so intelligent and reasoning.
Look at power play, there are a dozen times he and others could have resorted to violence to end the stand off quickly. Instead they used reason and patience and saves everyone without loss of life.
First contact? He kills a crew member while transforming into a Borg even though he states before that you can go back as he himself did. The show Picard would never do such a thing.
Fck you Rick Berman!
<quoted text>
So true, man! So true!

Or how about when Picard outsmarted Armus? That was f_ckin fantastic! I guess if it was a Berman film instead of a Roddenberry episode, Picard would've blasted Armus instead of winning with intellect.

Good poor about Bereman.
