<quoted text>Glad to see you admit that people in power use the gullibility of the populous to advance their cause. Thats exactly what Stalin did. He had an entire population of religious sheep. What dictator worth his salt would not use these religiously gullible peoples to advance his cause and secure his power. Far from being an Atheists who murdered for religious reasons, Stalin murdered for political reasons and to remove anyone he thought stood in his way.
All one needs to know about Christianity can be found in word like "Sheep" "Flock" "The good shepherd" Gullible sheep, herded into the flock, and tended by the good shepherd, what a great resource for any would be dictator.
Lol. I assume by "flock" you mean a herd of animals...

Perhaps you don't know it has multiple meanings...

Hitler wasn't a Christian. If anything, he was a Darwinist.
"The adult Adolf Hitler was a rationalist and a materialist, who saw Christianity as a religion fit for slaves, and a rebellion against the natural law of selection and survival of the fittest."
"Raised a Catholic, Hitler had some respect for the 'great position' of that church, but became deeply hostile to its teachings."
"In office, Hitler sought to control the German Churches through Gleichschaltung and sought to eliminate Judaism by all means possible."

Since you are able to read the mind of a dead person (Hitler), you shouldn't have a problem reading my mind. But wait I'll give you a hint, you're an idiot.

Hitler hated Christianity and hated Christians even more.

Deal with it.

Look half wit. I understand you being a christhole wanting to distance yourself from Hitler. Regardless of the select few quotes of his you ignore the ocean of quotes he gave defending Christianity, destroying Darwin's books, taking away free thinker's property and giving them to the church, championing his own take on Protestantism or as he called positive Christianity and I could go on and on with his actual actions supporting Christianity but I really don't need to.

You don't want to accept a self described lifelong Christian like him could do the bad things that he did so you need to comfort yourself by saying he wasn't a Christian.

It's okay that you are not strong enough to accept the truth.

Atheists in Power
State atheism in Albania was taken to an extreme during the totalitarian regime installed after World War II, when religions, identified as imports foreign to Albanian culture, were banned altogether. The Agrarian Reform Law of August 1945 nationalized most property of religious institutions, including the estates of monasteries, orders, and dioceses. Many clergy and believers were tried, tortured, and executed. All foreign Roman Catholic priests, monks, and nuns were expelled in 1946.

Apologist creationist lying piece of sh*t Hitler was christian:

The anti-Semitism of the new movement (Christian Social movement)
was based on religious ideas instead of racial knowledge.

[Adolf Hitler, "Mein Kampf", Vol. 1, Chapter 3]

I believe today that I am acting in the sense of the Almighty
Creator. By warding off the Jews I am fighting for the Lords work.

[Adolph Hitler, Speech, Reichstag, 1936]

I have followed [the Church] in giving our party program the
character of unalterable finality, like the Creed. The Church has
never allowed the Creed to be interfered with. It is fifteen hundred
years since it was formulated, but every suggestion for its
amendment, every logical criticism, or attack on it, has been
rejected. The Church has realized that anything and everything can be
built up on a document of that sort, no matter how contradictory or
irreconcilable with it. The faithful will swallow it whole, so long
as logical reasoning is never allowed to be brought to bear on it.

[Adolf Hitler, from Rauschning,_The Voice of Destruction_, pp. 239-40]

<quoted text>Just because Hitler wasn't an exemplary Christian doesn't mean he wasn't a Christian. History is littered with examples of this.

All you're doing is illustrating that Hitler was a megalomaniac and crappy Christian assisted by many other bad Christians that led an entire country of "good" Christians to do terrible things, or sit by and do little or nothing to stop him.

The deity belief/morals supposedly instilled by that belief did them no good whatsoever.
There are very few "exemplary" Christians.

Hitler was a lot like you atheists. He was born into a rigorous home, raised by religious parents, then turned his back on that religion and started idol ing himself.

Sound familiar?
That "declares his own victory" phrase is very familiar.

I was thinking the same thing.

I read this article in the Daily Mail yesterday.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-230...

"Hell hath no fury like an atheist scorned"

He writes.. "A weaselly self-righteousness is now the hallmark of the celebrity unbeliever. Meanwhile, it is the Christian who nods diligently in any discussion, taking pains to reassure the atheists how very much he respects their point of view."

Hmm, do Christians really show respect for atheist PoV? I dont think so judging by this forum.

The writer goes on to argue that Hitler and Stalin were atheists. Its a very biased article against Atheists in my opinion.

The reality from my experience is that on topix and in the real world tolerant christians are a small minority.
