Yes, Jesus was talking about the 10 Commandments given to Moses from God. The Pharisees at the time had bastardized the laws, Jesus meant to keep them as they were.

Yes. I've mentioned that on other threads. I've even advised HL to use that knowledge in her favor if a Christard tried to use it against her homosexuality.
I'm not sure what God thinks of homos, but I do know that He wants sex to remain within (and only within) a marriage.
Ah.

Another Reader of the Mind of God.

Thought so.

Sorry, but ignorance of science is not evidence of a deity.

It might prove someone was an astute observer and figured those things out... that's all... if that.
"Facts, RR. Show me facts."

I did.
Aristarchus figured it out with nothing more than observation and geometry.
Aristarchus was a time traveler....

Dude was an astronomical genius. His theories about a heliocentric solar system wasn't proven for 1800 years.

We're not worthy...
The Bible is full of nonsense. A few "truths" mixed in doesn't change that.
Which is why you must study the bible in order to understand it. You just can't pick a verse here & there and try to prove something.

Okay, concedo - how many prophecies are contained in the "more than 31,000 verses"?
Erm, according to Biblical prophecy, your Jesus was NOT the Messiah.
OMG dude.

3,100 & 31,000 are different numbers...

Just FYI.

You're talking like a Jew now... I hope you feel better.

Blazing Saddles!

It's a classic.

[Bart, disguised as a Klansman, describes his qualifications as a villain]

Bart: Stampeding cattle.

Hedley Lamarr: That's not much of a crime.

Bart: Through the Vatican?

Ah.

Upon review, I see you're correct - I made a typo. My bad.

I meant 3,100.

Which effects my basic point how?

That's still 3,100 non-events.

And your Nazarene was still not the Messiah.

I'm not much into horror movies, unless you count “Alien” and its successors... so, sorry.

Here are a few non-horror movies I've watched in the last month or so. Not necessarily favorites... just ones springing to mind... trying to stick with whatchya said ya like.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010)
Goofy comedy.. a hack'n'slash parody. A bunch of dumb college kids go for a weekend in the woods and severely misjudge a couple of idiot, but lovable, rednecks.

The Baytown Outlaws (2012)
The bad guys are bad. The good guys are worse. You'll love 'em all.

Deja Vu (2006)
Pretty good time travel flic... IMO. It has a “cohesive” story.

Lawless (2012)
Crime drama about moonshiners and revenuers... sorta “gangstery”.

Savages (2012)
Another crime drama... about marijuana and money. Plenty of action.

Old westerns ya say! How many Clint Eastwood movies have you seen? The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) is a must see. That one brought the western back in a day when it was dead!

Oh! History...
Agora (2009)...and... The New World (2005).

What have you seen lately?

You're free to think you did.

Anyway...

We were talking about that History Channel movie.

You have no facts pertaining to its specific subject matter.

You know that so you changed the subject.
Aristarchus was a time traveler....
No, he wasn't.
Dude was an astronomical genius. His theories about a heliocentric solar system wasn't proven for 1800 years.
Yeah! People died and were subject to threat of death for daring to push the idea.
