Yet you argue against them constantly to maintain your delusion.
That's where you lose the right to respect.
There are tons of books and websites aimed at the non scientist that explain these things with great clarity.
Why not read up on some of them before spouting off about how wrong they must be because they don't fit your religious views.
Because listening to you whine, complain and froth at the mouth is much more entertaining.

Poor Topix atheists.

They don't know what they believe in, don't believe in, or even what they are against. They just yammer, and quote comedians in support of what they don't know.

It all stems from reaction to one old book, and the civilization built around it, not any great intellectual insight. The disaffected. So they screech a lot.

They want a new world built upon that same civilization.

But alas, they lack the brains or maturity to maintain one, even if they could create it.
Keep trying, Dave.

I'm sure somebody, somewhere thinks you're smart.

Besides you, that is.

<quoted text>Topix atheists seem to be more concerned with a shrink wrapped version of marxism as in the Frankfurt School variety.
To follow their marxist beliefs they must declare themselves enemies of God, it is mandatory.
Hating God is just a means to an end to them, if it were an end in itself then they would have more ability to prove the 'non existence of God' but they have proven nothing.
Buddhists and Jains are non-theist but the Topix atheists hate them as well. Why? Because they have a definite sense of morals and behaviour as well as good and evil.
It is not 'relative' to them as it is with atheists.
Communist/Atheist China quite happily slaps around Buddhists and the atheists of the west say nothing.
This is the sort of 'nothing' that Topix atheists believe in.
Which atheists hate Buddhists and Jains?

And, jfyi, we don't hate Christians.

Mostly we pity them.

We hate ignorance. Especially the willful kind.

And we don't hate god.

There is no god.

<quoted text>Quite true, look at the rent-a-mob demonstrations in favour of left wing causes. The overwhelming majority of those mobs are herded like sheep by one or two professional career 'socialists' and the ones who organised it arent even there but probably in some swish restaurant on some sort of government grant.
It is 'groupthink' as they have forgotten or been indoctrinated not to think for themselves.
As a result you get stupid crap posted when these professional victims cannot respond rationally.

The movement was founded on May 1, 1776, in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria) as the Order of the Illuminati, with an initial membership of five,[2] by Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt (d. 1830),[3] who was the first lay professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt.[1] It was made up of freethinkers as an offshoot of the Enlightenment and seems to have been modeled on the Freemasons.[4] The Illuminati's members took a vow of secrecy and pledged obedience to their superiors. Members were divided into three main classes, each with several degrees, and many Illuminati chapters drew membership from existing Masonic lodges."

Hmmm, interesting. Personally I don't know too many people who think Astrology is a means of acquiring intelligence or any scientific knowledge.

But I can understand someone who believes Biblical mythology might also consider Astrology, Tarot Card Reading, Reading Tea Leaves, Reading tossed Bones, soothsaying, etc would all provide one with knowledge.

I and my fellow atheists rely mostly on Science,(like Astronomy, Physics, biology, micro-biology, geology, paleontology, arthropology et. al) mathematics, observations, experimentation etc to understand the universe. Its a heck of a lot more reliable than a book of fiction written by a bunch of nomadic desert dwellers from the Bronze Age
