"You are wrong about science and the center." We are the center of the universe? Really?
We are not ready to discuss the BBT or the TOE or Abiogenesis! We have a plethora of proof for many simple science facts that the bible got wrong or ignored.
So your entire focus as an atheist is to just disprove one ancient book, and not seek the real reasons of life?

You have too many personal issues for anyone to take you serious.

I wonder how many people realize that this entire thread was originally only posted in the Topix "Atheism Forum" and only later did Topix add it to the "Top Stories" forum?

Most atheists in this thread are seeing it from the "Atheism Forum" perspective and would naturally see theists as proselytizing where they are not wanted.

You think that I just want to disprove ONE ancient book? So far, the followers of Apollo haven't tried to force their religion on me, so I do not spend much time on their ancient book.

Just because the followers of your god are blowing up clinics, flying planes into building, forcing their religion into public school's science classes and shit like that, you feel picked on?

The 'real reasons of life'?

There you go! Speaking for 'everybody' again. You judge for your god, speak for everyone on the planet and you tell me that I have personal issues?

You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

I don't think Dave's a Muslim. You've got your religions mixed up.

Christians don't blow up buildings or clinics or force religion in public schools...

True Believers™ are usually rather incurious.
A serious historical study of ALL religions is very revealing.
What appears on the surface a huge puzzle, is really a very common thread, based on geographic location and societies.

One could say RA was the basis of the desert religions.
Worship? Why?

Religion has inserted itself and its inane beliefs into civil law in many countries, including this one. Zero proof of what they claim. The three desert religions in particular - hate each other and have been waring against one another since their inception

A maggot-minded, starved, fanatic crew:
God gave the secret, and denied it me?
Well, well, what matters it! Believe that, too."

You are a troubled idiot.

You have about 24/7 of people trying to force you to think their way and buy their wares. I don't see you ranting against them.

I recall Rick Perry's urging fellow Texans to three days of prayer to alleviate the 2011 drought. All those people locked in prayer, pleading with god for much needed rain and they received - nothing. I wonder how many people thought this will show the world that god does indeed exist? Bet there was a lot of head scratching and doubt after that debacle.
Rick Perry, a politician, was pandering to voters. We had the chance to see him on the national stage and he washed out. Kind of like the itsy bitsy spider that went up the water spout. The rains did come and washed him all out.

When you’re biased and try to read in the bible your own twisted demented interpretation you miss out on it’s intended meaning.

Let’s go back to the first grade so you can have a better understanding.

First grade reading book.“See Spot run!”

Now we all know “Spot” was a dog and the dog was running.

But if you were giving us the interpretation you would being telling us that “Spot,” was mustard on someone’s shirt and it was dripping downward.

This is the very reason you are not allowed to teach the First grade because you are f**ked up.

Wow! I have talked to three of your characters today! Why the privilege?

So far, you have made several inaccurate statements and hurled silly insults, whilst I have remained calm. How does that make you feel?
