Yes we do. We have many eye witness.
No, you don't.

You have 4 pieces of writing...
...which were written by anonymous authors.
...which were written 50 years after the events.
...which were written by cult members.
...which aren't independent.
...which aren't historical, but religious, in nature.
...which contradict one another.
...which contain historically questionable events.
...which contain scientifically impossible events.

<quoted text>Right, because atheists don't indoctrinate their children like the religious do.

So if atheists have a lower 'retention rate' with their children, why are they increasing in numbers so rapidly?

Because it's ADULTS leaving religion.
Numbers growing - because the population is growing world wide. Percentage of atheism is shrinking and here is the proof.

From 2.3% in 2005 to 2.04% in 2012.

"A survey published in the 2005 Encyclopedia Britannica stated that 2.3% of the world's population consists of individuals who profess "atheism, skepticism, disbelief, or irreligion, including the militantly antireligious." In regards to the 2.3% figure just mentioned, the 2005 survey cited by Encyclopedia Britannica survey did not include Buddhist in regards to the 2.3% figure and Buddhism can be theistic or atheistic."

Wikipedia:

"Another survey attributed to Britannica shows the population of atheists at around 2.4% of the world's population.[citation needed] It is difficult to determine whether atheism is growing or not"

Wikipedia :

"2005 poll by AP/Ipsos surveyed ten countries. Of the developed nations, people in the United States were most sure of the existence of God or a higher power (2% atheist, 4% agnostic)"

Wikipedia :

"According to one estimate, atheists make up about 2.3% of the world's population"

"In 2007, a Pew Forum survey found that the atheist population in the United States was 1.6% of the American population."

"Global atheism is shrinking and demographic changes in the United States and the world are expected to shrink the influence of American secularism."

The CIA World Factbook gives the world population as 7,021,836,029 (July 2012 est.) and the distribution of religions as Christian 33.35%(of which Roman Catholic 16.83%, Protestant 6.08%, Orthodox 4.03%, Anglican 1.26%), Muslim 22.43%, Hindu 13.78%, Buddhist 7.13%, Sikh 0.36%, Jewish 0.21%, Baha'i 0.11%, other religions 11.17%, atheists 2.04%.

Name these historical eye witnesses, what they saw and secular historical proof they even existed.

We won't hold our breath.

As shown by a Christian website. Get real idiot, you really don't think anyone will fall for that do you?

Even if the numbers were correct which thy factually are not all you are doing is employing the band wagon logical fallacy argument. Your mom shattered this when you were 9 by saying if everyone else was jumping off a bridge would you jump as well?

I did ask you who. You didn't answer.

I'm a Christian & an American and I don't fit either one of those allegations. And nobody I know dies either.

That's because You can't offer any evidence. You are free to live your life in the chains of superstition. The low IQ needs to be shackled like that.

You don't see your intellectual inconsistency, do you?

If you were a juror, and the prosecutor said the guy could teleport, you'd call BS.

If you read a book that claimed a woman lived on Mars, you'd call BS.

If I told you my friend could shoot lasers out of his eyes, you'd call BS.

Yet you don't do the same for your religion.

I said common, not every single person. You need to avoid projecting better, especially when dealing with someone like me. I do not assume things, and I do not assume that what one person does is what everyone of the same archetype would do, lest I would not enjoy reading some of what some posters on here post. Common means I have witnessed it a lot, much of it in the media and online, some in real life, but if I had made the assumption about you, I would not have even pointed this fact out to you in the first place because it would be "preaching to the choir," to coin a phrase.

In that case, you should just state it's a belief and not fact. Saying something is fact without presenting evidence to support it is pretty much lying. Stating something is fact is the same as saying you have evidence you can present to back it up.
