I had a cockatiel that would growl like the dog. Birds can be just too comical.
Oh ya, he's funny as hell. When the phone rings, he says "hellooo?"

Sometimes he rings Hus own phone, says hello, then pretends he's having a conversation with someone.

He'll scream a loud, shrill little girl scream. Really sounds like a 3 yr old girl whining about something.

And he has cognitive abilities that blow me away.

How about you proving that the African Grey Parrot does not talk and understand basic human language.
You are now on the stage with the spotlight on you. Don’t disappoint us. I want to see scientific facts and research to back up your claim.
Do you mean "A" particular one "who was trained" or
The African Grey Parrots as a whole?

Because if the African Grey Parrots in general understood basic human language. They would be flying up asking people questions.
Meaning they had learned independently by their own reasoning skills.

I don't disagree,I just put an eternal being and the eternal energy of Krauss under the same heading as far as being possible. My opinion is the being is more plausible.

Yes indeed, but I'm not talking about the fundie jackasses here, I'm talking about Balaam's talking jackass. It's one of my favourite bible yarns, it would make a good Monty Python sketch. I mean, when the donkey speaks to him, Balaam doesn't say WTF!! or act in any way surprised, but just answers back as though they had been on speaking terms for years. What makes it even funnier is that some people actually believe this yarn, isn't that right Eagle12?

I asked you previously where Krauss made reference to "eternal energy", but I don't see where you answered that question.

It is assumed. If "nothing" is not really "nothing" but actually energy were back at square one. What is the cause of the energy? What is the cause of what created the energy and so on. So I have to assume the energy is eternal. If not Krauss hasn't achieved anything.

So you're *assuming* that Krauss is making a claim for "eternal energy", but you're not able to point to where he actually makes such a claim?

How about an answer of "we don't know yet"?

On the contrary, Krauss has explained how *particles*(the "something") can come into existence from the vacuum state (the "nothing").

The *vacuum state* isn't nothing. That's made quite clear in the book by Krauss.

Because religions have a habit of making them mean something completely different from what the rest of the population means by them.
If it weren't for Christianity redefining words and phrases in their Bible, the whole of Christianity would collapse.

Examples:

There is no virgin in Isaiah 7:14

"Son of Man" is Ben'Adam and simply means "good person" not God.

"Messiah" is not a human sacrifice, God nor resurrected from the dead.

"Christ" is from a Greek word for annointed, usually a King.

Lucifer is the same word that Jesus calls himself in Revelation.

etc. & etc.

And this is proveable by the scientific method? Krauss assumes the principles of QM are correct. So in essensce Krauss and everyone who agrees with his premise merely has "faith" placed in that belief. Back to square one.

If that's all you can supply is a circular argument, then it speaks more about you than me.

I'll tell you what.

I'll go first. It'll be simple and to the point.

Verb: create
1. Make or cause to be or to become
2. Bring into existence
3. Pursue a creative activity; be engaged in a creative activity
4. Invest with a new title, office, or rank
5. Create by artistic means
6. Create or manufacture a man-made product

See that first definition? See the second definition?

There you go.

The question you asked:

RiversideRedneck wrote: <quoted text> Name one thing created from non-intelligence

I answered with:

scaritual wrote: <quoted text> Snow, rain, erosion, canyons, waterways, etc...

The answer I gave above fits the first two definitions for "created".

I gave three more examples than what you asked for, too.
