Topix atheists can be replaced.
With a much better model, even.
BTW, postbiological units would KNOW there was a Creator.
Because their creator would be us.

And we, unlike your god, would be able to make that clear.

But an intelligent postbiological would realize that its creator had a creator. Unlike a Topix atheist, it would have the intelligence to accept that due to time and events it is something it could not identify, or that it could even have morphed into something different since the original. While from a functional level, it could just accept that things just are, and they came from somewhere somehow, it would have enough brains to not deny an original creator.

It would also realize it was created for a purpose. Otherwise it wouldn't have the programming to even question its existence and origination. It would just "do". Real machine-like, like Topix atheists.

Boredom is a sign if a weak mind.
Gluttony is a sign of a weak mind.
Depression isn't a "disease" any more than being fat is a "disease".
You're pathetic.
And, finally, Creationism is a sign of a weak mind.

Any intelligent attempts to communicate thoughts and ideas looking for a common thread or real "facts" on the internet for the advancement of the species is an exercise in futility. The static from random firing neurons, the emotional outbursts of the confused, quickly scrambles any signals. Participation can help, but only in that on an individual basis it can help focus your individual thoughts.

It has been fun buzzing the rainforest, seeing how the monkeys react. Unfortunately, these "atheist forums" can not even provide a good cup of crappuccino out of what they hurl.

The starboard strut mount has been loose for a while, and rattling badly. Some large sections of fabric on the wing flapping in the breeze. The propeller is nicked, and the engine is sputtering more than running smooth. There is a fog bank ahead with mountaintops showing beyond. The sun is setting and there won't be any thermals by the time I get there. It is time for old Dave to turn the radio off.
