So, where's your evidence? No one has yet to provide any evidence to counter the assertion, which was made by defenders of Rock and Roll originally, and repeated by the likes of defenders of modern technology and even Penn Jillette. Even Hillary Clinton couldn't demonstrate evidence to contradict that assertion, and each year since 1980 it has become more and more accurate.

After checking out your claim. There is a lot of internet traffic going on about Marcus Bachmann. It just appears this is a war of words against the straights.
The nation as a whole has shifted more towards the left with homosexuality being more openly accepted. I see this trend continuing for the ongoing future. It’s a sign of the times.
Conservatives numbers may dwindle down some but we will not be going away. Our views will not change based on our belief in Gods word. So this means Christianity will come under more attack in the future.
Hate solves little as displayed in venomous attacks on peoples religious faith. Marcus Backmann is not out there bashing gays. He is trying to help those seeking help. Because of that this good man is being libeled and slandered for his religious liberties.
http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2012/11/20/p...

This is interesting. The gays took over San Francisco and got it so they even have a city sponsored celebration of sadomasochism in addition to gaydom. They got public nudity allowed so the gay hustlers, some making a living and getting their drugs from that hustling, could show their wares, let the sweat and anal secretions, especially from enlarged anuses from showing their "love" for each other get smeared all over park benches, bus seats, doorknobs, water fountains, and you name it. Oh, you know they had to finger themselves on occasion, to remember the romantic session and check for blood. Or wiping their mouths. Spreading their love around, in addition to advertising their wares. I doubt many of them carry hand sanitizers in their purses.

There is a definite public health issue there.

But they have rights!!!!

Where is the responsibilities that go with them?

That is what happens when you throw the doors open to anything "different". The bad walks in with the good.

Now you have citizens, and many of them gay, or with economic interests in them, saying "whoa!". See how narrow that measure passed? Hard to get rid of that after you open the doors.

Although homicide rates overall have remained level in recent years, the gun-related homicide rates among young men have increased sharply in the United States, especially among black men, according to a study by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

According to the research, between 1999 and 2005, homicide involving firearms increased 31 percent among black men ages 25 to 44 and 12 percent among white men 25 to 44 years of age.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that each year approximately one million people die from suicide, which represents a global mortality rate of 16 people per 100,000 or one death every 40 seconds. It is predicted that by 2020 the rate of death will increase to one every 20 seconds.

The WHO further reports that:

In the last 45 years suicide rates have increased by 60% worldwide. Suicide is now among the three leading causes of death among those aged 15-44 (male and female). Suicide attempts are up to 20 times more frequent than completed suicides.
Although suicide rates have traditionally been highest amongst elderly males, rates among young people have been increasing to such an extent that they are now the group at highest risk in a third of all countries.
Mental health disorders (particularly depression and substance abuse) are associated with more than 90% of all cases of suicide.
However, suicide results from many complex sociocultural factors and is more likely to occur during periods of socioeconomic, family and individual crisis (e.g. loss of a loved one, unemployment, sexual orientation, difficulties with developing one's identity, disassociation from one's community or other social/belief group, and honour)

Your perspective is completely faulty. You and Dave.

http://bjs.ojp.usdoj.gov/content/glance/table...

You see a headline and think that represents the current state of the whole world, neglecting to realize, it's just a headline, one story in one location.

A complete list of the wars in the world too, to demonstrate that this is the most peaceful time in all of history:

http://www.warsintheworld.com/...

Take a sampling of violent crimes in the news from 1980 and it's more than double what you see today. Unless you live in a cave, you can walk down the street today in most civilized countries without being armed and you'll not be shot, stabbed, robbed, or worse, mostly because all the people who use to do that are too busy playing video games or surfing the net for free porn now. The sharp downward trend in violence coincided with two pivotal points in history, the advent of the world wide internet, and a saturation in violent video games. Yes, I have studied this phenomenon, and yes it was to defend the use of technology and video games in the modern era.

You need to learn how to do actual research instead of listening to media, media sensationalizes, the real information is in the trends and the facts. Statistical analysis leads to the conclusion that the more technology that is available, the more peaceful and secure we become.

You are currently more likely to die of a heart attack from eating too much or falling in your kitchen than you are from ever being attacked in the US.

You are more likely to be struck by lightning than you are to be robbed by force.

It is more probable that you will be harmed by a family member in a domestic dispute than from a stranger in the US.

These are just the fun statistics too.

2010, the same year they added I believe at least 10 "conditions" to the federal guidelines of what is "mental illness." Not a good story to depend on, since it ignores that fact.

George Bush, Sr, added several as well during his presidency, there was a spike in "mental illness" of the general public then as well.

Get your perspective in order, the world doesn't end with your property line.

Most of those protesters yesterday were useful idiots for unions. Very few store employees were involved. Liberal groups agitating, primarily.
Shows you how out of touch they are with people. Price is everything. Personal economics.
I got sick of those activist idiots being obnoxious years ago.
The way to really educate those pea brains is a Punch a Protester discount. 20% for a bloody nose, 50% for a knockout. Just show a video of it on your cell phone.

Well, I don't have a car. My name is available online in many locations, G+ likes to advertise that, lots of people like to post their real world names in many locations as well. There's also LinkedIn, the place to get connected with professionals of all type, where you post your real name and phone number so they can contact you for job offers.

I know you're new to the concept of global communications, but you can't be that naive. Your information is also available to anyone with even a small amount of computer literacy, anonymity is, and always has been, an illusion, nothing more. Topix staff have record of your IP address, and can trace it to your physical location or mobile device, if they wanted to. Every website you ever post on can. It is now standard practice to record IP addresses of everyone that posts, in case the authorities request it. You ISP masks the exact location within reason, as it's part of their contract most times, but with a simple court order you can get that information from them.

Your perspectives are a bit warped.

Oh, BTW, wasn't that long ago you didn't have to worry much about someone stealing your identity, or cleaning out your bank account. Yep, those computers sure made the world safer and more secure on the personal level.
