Very good point.
I think the difference here is what constitutes a basic human right.
Rape violates the human rights of the victim. No argument there.
But sending out an anti-Islamic (or anti-Christian, anti-Hindu or whatever) message, statement, book or film, is not considered a violation of human rights.
Hope that makes sense?
.. the problem seems to be disagreement on law, what constitutes a crime ..

.. Christians kill abortion doctors because they believe it is a violation of human rights ..

.. we're back to law ..

This is a possibility, it was after all there to be used as an excuse.

If it had not been there then that excuse would not have existed and another excuse would have to have been found. Or perhaps some random act of terrorism would have served just as well. Or maybe nothing would have happened at all, who knows?

In the UK as in most other countries in the world incitement of one sort or another (religious hatred, racial hatred, simple hatred and/or to violence) is a crime punishable by imprisonment

Yes. That is why I do not go by the nation in question's constitution, but rather the Bill of Rights as set out by the UN.

Double Fine not only except the gay culture, but *loves* the lesbian community.

If Doube Fine was god, the earth would be a giant hot tub filled with lesbians. And chocolate.

I was particularly impressed with the part that stated “The number of these Americans has grown by 25% just in the past five years”
Tell me though how is that that TRUE atheists pray every day, that my dear delusional friend is not atheism, that is god worship without a faith
Basically it’s just contradictory waffle and no more than would be expected form a devotee of davesworld
Ah, lovey, it just shows you how the "true atheists" inflate their numbers to reinforce their illusions.

Great cartoons. ;-)

Jesus and Mo cartoons are wonderfully funny and true.
Richard Dawkins

Jesus and Mo make the world a better place, bless their little hearts.
Ophelia Benson

...a philosophical confrère.
Jerry Coyne

The brilliant, celebrated, freaking hilarious atheist comic strip ...
Greta Christina

...rays of sanity in a befuddled world.
Keri Hulme

The liveliest depictions of Muhammad currently available...
Malise Ruthven

J & Mo is the funniest and most consistently thought-provoking cartoon strip on the Net. In a saner world, it would run in a major newspaper.
Nelson Jones, Heresy Corner

Consistently amusing, frequently thought-provoking and often heart-warming.
New Humanist

Wittily captures much of the absurdity of religious apologetics.
Mano Singham

...wonderfully brilliant and witty.
Miranda Celeste Hale

Too good for words.

Faith Healers?
Clergy and special garments ?

Lol -!

Religion is hilarious - comedy material only. Superstition organized by cults

Big roaches will eat the silicone pads on eyeglass. You would be amazed on what they can gnaw through. Their legs alone are like saw blades and hard.

You are under the impression that lesbians are all pretty and femme.

You need more experience with them.

Lovey, it revealed most had not found the religion that fit them, whether they were seeking it or not. They still had a belief in the supernatural and deities, just not the group to share it with, They certainly can't share views on such with you.

"True atheists" are in a percentage small enough to be called a pathology.
