God or Oprah Winfrey; Whom do you believe?

To be rich does not mean an individual should lose his or her priority to life. Does having wealth turn the hearts of many away from the creator? Or is it a sin to be a Celebrity?
I believe God exists. I believe in Jesus Christ.
It takes just a situation or an event for an individual to denounce God's existence. Life has its ups and downs but that does not mean that life is afterall bad.
Oprah Winfrey openly gave her view about what she termed 'so called God'. She is everybody's favorite. She brings laughter to many faces. I have seen how she rose from all to stardom. This is not the moment for her to publicly denounce God. The 'New Age' stuff is nothing more than a poison with an attempt to divert people away from knowing God. As individual, God gives us a choice to control our lives as we want. This freedom does not mean that we should take Him for granted.God is not a jealous God as Oprah called Him to be. There are two different meanings to this; God is not jealous of me, rather He is jealous for me. It means He can go an extra lenght to support me or any body that is for Him.
A fool says in his heart that there is no God!
God is love. I know there are still thousands of people out there having the true knowledge of God. l found Oprah Winfrey's statement blasphemous!

No, it's not complicated at all. She stated how god is defined to her and how she feels about it. And she has just as much right to express her feelings as anyone. You can whine about it, but in the end, you'll just have to live with it.

You can tell me to live with it but how many people of God out there are willing to live with such ungodly situation? Ok, so...what are you planning to done. Boycott her show? An act of terrorism to send her into hiding? Burn a cross on her lawn?

You may as well face up to it. Her "New found modern theory" isn't pulling anyone from anywhere. It is just giving those that were leaving anyway a place to go. If people are leaving your religion and going to her's, then you aren't doing something right! Maybe things like "Rex's erection" have finally soured them to the old dogma.

I have thought Operah is the anti-christ for years. MAD TV does the best perody of this. Is she a scientologist now? I knew that was coming. I don't care which religion any one chooses but I do beleive Scientology is a dangerous hoax.

She isn't a Scientologist, though I don't know what her classification would be. From what she says, it seems to be something like Pantheism or Pandeism. She believes in a god in some fashion.

l agree with you, Orthopod1. There is actually no direct story link when it has to do with Oprah. She's found a 'new love' that she thinks it is the 'right way' for her and others but there is where she got it all wrong. ln life, you don't ever mix up God with newly found-madness!She's embarking on a dangerous path and she knew it!

The truth is that Oprah is confused. You can clearly spell it out in her conversation and response when she was questioned about her view about God. From her judgement of what her Baptist pastor stated about God being jealous to her own conclusion to why should God be jealous of her, you will notice that she did not make any right sense at all. Her 'New Age' religion is nothing more than a mess

That may be true. But, her living in a secular nation makes it's OK for her to follow it if she wishes too. It also means that it's alright for anyone that wants to follow her to do so.
