I plan on having more babies to get more welfare and throw my kids out in the street to fend for themselves.
Lower rents mean better neighborhoods and more money for me to spend on my Whip. |

You're an idiot. But back to the point..... We should lower rent because of the simple fact that my small 2 bedroom duplex is not worth $900 a month, especially when my neighbors are drug-dealing, drug-addicted, jackazzes. Not only that, but considering I live about 20 minutes south of the border of Wisconsin and the rent there is half what it is here, I think my landlord should reconsider. (And for the record, I would move there except the traffic to and from work would be horrible and my babysitter has had my kids for 2 years already and I'm not about to make a change in their routine. Plus my husband already drives 40 minutes to work as is.) |
Man its tough out there isnt it?I feel for families trying to raise children and they get it in the ass from all sides because of the greedy oil companies and opec.900 dollars for a duplex in a crummy area? And look how much your food is going up also. Illegals are probably getting better benefits and help than you.Good luck,It will get better soon. |

It's not so much that my neighborhood is bad, it's that I live next to idiots who choose to fry their brains. The ironic thing, I work with his sister!! She isn't nearly as irritating though. I would love to have all my bills paid by someone else, i.e. welfare, but I know I can survive without it and I know there are people out there who can't. I wish the many people who were conning the system would think about that too considering 7 out of 10 people are on welfare. Gross. But thanks for your sympathy and I wish you all the best of luck too. |
With your attitude it will get better. Its the person who sits around feeling sorry for themselves thats killing the system.Take care. |

Here where I live, most 3 bedroom homes have several adults living in them.Across the street, there are 5 adults with children living in a 3 bedroom home.Thats why they all have new cars,no mortgage to pay, rent.Maybe they pay board I assume. There was another family in a small 2 bedroom home(one of which I live,so I know how tight that is)and had 4 adults and 6 children.Buying homes, renting aprtments at the current prices is why so many are crammed in homes meant for less people. And those are of the ones that work!i see it this way. These homes and apartment buildings, which I was an apartment manager for one year, were built 50 or more years ago. Now,all those that actually constructed the buildings/homes and the construction company have been paid for it.The only cost would be county, local taxes, upkeep(if a homeowner). If an apartment owner, then the cost of heat/hot water, taxes, maintenence and a profit. When I was an apartment manager,I was told by the ownwer "I rent space, not if the building is old or new".Applicants often told me that the apartment I showed was not worth the cost of rent because of it being an old outdated building (the elevator is so old,its one of those kind that you have to close the door manually for it to go).Yet other more modern buildings had comparable rents. But see,it the space rented, not how modern it is.according to this apartment owner.Same as when I worked in Atlantic City as a hotel manager. An old building built in 1888,yet he charged as much as the newer ones.

It is just so simple. When ppl took care of their apt and didn't destroy everything in it and didn't make the area a crime infested ghetto, rents were affordable, to those who worked. My father, back in the 60s, bought an old apt building..gutted it and made it all brand new. He charged extremely reasonable rent. I kid you not, he had so much trouble collecting rents, and in 3 yrs the place looked 100 yrs old. It was like something out of a horror movie..just so unbelievable. The place was over run with roaches..i wish i had pics to show the filth and destruction. I wish i had before pics, it was gorgeous. My father was soooooooooo dismayed. I know first hand how ghettos are formed and by who.
