Black and White

I go to a school in Alaska with mainly white kids. There are only six blacks kids over all, and most of the kids seem to think that the black people have to be a steorotype. They act like we all love each other and it gets annoying. But, I like a white girl, but I don't know if I can ask with all the people making unfair steorotypes. Also, only two black people in the history of my school have ever gone on a date with white girls. My school is 14 years old.

I'm sure many will appriciate your genuine apologies, but you really owe none. I think you have noting to lose in trying. Aim high, you never know, perhaps she isn't as shallow as those that are still stuck on stupid and look for steroypes are, and you and her could be the third in history. In today's sociel realm it is more acceptable for interracial relationships, but for your small community you may just find yourself having to prove yourself harder to show those that you don't really fall under some fabricated sterotype, and have a real good heart. I think in the end you will find some positive outcomes, if not now, perhaps sooner than later.
