The Paris Hiltons, The Kardashians, The Honey Boo Boos et al.

Why? Does America run out of people with talents to admire?

Says an American whose country was founded by slave owners.

Anyway, let's fast forward it to today and not drift away from the topic.

The problem is not that you love no talents, but it is the fact that you market these no talents to the world. As an American citizen, don't you feel responsible for the dumbing down of the world?

Do you have an "OFF" switch on your television? Do you only get one channel where you live? If you don't like what you are seeing change the channel or, better yet, turn your TV off. Don't ask us to be your entertainment nanny.

PS: Don't think Europe is free from the taint of African slavery. It first came to you in 1444AD. That's 48 years before Christopher Columbus sailed west only to find a land mass blocking his route to India.

Shakespeare died in 1616. What have you given the world since then?

I, for one, am extremely tired of this strange celebration of everyday people which started over a decade ago. The vast majority of people are not that interesting or intelligent, let alone talented. And yet here they are, night after night, under the guise of reality shows. It's become a cancer which is slowly killing off what few intelligent programs are left. "Swamp People", on the History Channel of all places, is a good example of what I'm referring to. America is becoming a huge embarrassment when it comes to music or the arts, and the intelligence of its people.

Every day people are you and me and the people we know. The reality show people are chasing a buck on the boob tube in contrived circumstances having little to do with reality. Think "The Magic Christian" for a million dollars. Don't concern yourself with music, the arts and other people's intelligence. If you are embarrassed by what others are doing make your own music and art.

Sure. I just hate to see others getting dumber by the crap coming out of the USA.

And Americans found native Indians there, and they have to systematically destroy them to make way for the creation of your great nation!

... and Adele, too. I wonder how Adele achieved her success in America since Americans usually are not capable of appreciating refined artistry.

It is also funny how European artists usually have to remake another dumber version of their albums to be accepted in the US market.

Not Americans. English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese... Europeans. You! Sort of like the Britons and the Australian aborigines and the New Zealand Maori and the native population of India?
