Careful, your delight in the undoings of others might come back and bite you.<quoted text>
i copied and pasted this example:
My favourite example of karma dates back to my childhood in the 70s. There was a bully in school who picked on me relentlessly, making my life a misery and gathering up a gang of other kids to pick on me as well. The teachers were no help, they just told me to “ignore them” or “stand up for myself”. I ended up having to crawl home through the storm sewers to avoid them laying in wait for me after school.
Until one day, he and his bully buddies went down the paddocks to rip parts off a stolen truck that had been dumped in the creek there. While he was underneath it trying to unbolt some part, the side of the creek gave way, collapsing the truck on top of him and turning him into a permanent quadriplegic. In the months that followed, another of the bullies got into devil worship and hanged himself; a third got into the drug scene and died of an overdose. And after that, I found I was able to walk home from school in peace.
Coincidence? Maybe, but I’ve always liked to think it was karma.
