http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba-bans-donald-... Just as O.J. Simpson became a 'social pariah' after he was acquitted at his criminal trial, so has Donald Sterling made himself as social pariah with the revelation of the audiotape that, basically, proved his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and because of the near total disdain for him among athletes in the NBA, and likely beyond. One person who as pretty much made it known that he is likely to oppose getting rid of Sterling is none other than his fellow 'Jew', Mark Cuban, who called being able to get rid of Sterling...'a slippery slope'.Well, there's likely ONE vote against the 3/4s needed.

I thought the US had protections of freedom of speech in the Constitution, yes right he may be in violation contract early to the NBA but certainly there can be no criminal proceedings for the bloke certainly broke no laws – what is it you Yanks say, just because it's not politically correct doesn't make it wrong? I think tempest in a teacup about this,

Do you really think that he's the only professional sports team owner who thinks or feels this way? The others just know enough to keep their mouth's shut. He doesn't seem well. I think his wife is right about the dementia.

These people have no conscience. They'll do anything for money.

Sterling has done nothing wrong.

It doesn't matter what he say's or thinks, you stupid people. What matters is a private conversation was recorded illegally and made public and because of that people reacted by expelling him from the game, fining him and will likely confiscate his property(Clippers).

And your OK with that?

Who a caresa ? Watch millionaires strut and squeeze billionaires ? No thank you. I'd rather watch Larry Bird take Magic around the horn in a game of Horse. Or, Ron Artest take care of Sterling . Just like NBA games--I'll watch the last two minutes to see who loses more.
