Dont you think that his father and mother had alot to do with his insecurities about himself? His dad hounded him about his nose , his acne , how dark he was , exposing him to really in- appropreate situations at an early age ect.... I agree he had troubles but, look at his life , no foundation and a person will crumble. He was certainly trouble and his own worse enemy and now he is gone never to harm himself or others again. I can't think of a single black person who was that involved in Farrah Fawcett's celebrity. She was there, but that's about it. As a matter of fact, most blacks didn't care for her because she had better hair.

He deserves to be remembered and through his music, he will be. No one disputes that at one time, he was an amazing performer.

Personally, his life was a mess, mostly of his own making in the later years. There is nothing admirable about the way he lived in excess, exposed his children to bizarre behavior, cut their mother out of their lives, secluded himself from the outside world he supposedly loved so much and was addicted to alcohol, drugs and his obsession with children was nothing short of disturbing.

Blacks didn't embrace him in his later years and neither did whites in America. His last two albums tanked in the US and he didn't do a concert series here in the US for a REASON. They love him in Europe, but here, his adoring crowds were far thinner.

Again, this is why most blacks never make anything of themselves. Their parents hate them, the rest of society hate them, they hate themselves. Live in a black home long enough and you'll see why most blacks suffer from mental problems.
