why do atheist/pagans always confuse moral/spiritual issues with brain wave activity and neuron impulses? it's very frustrating and it's no wonder why your priest & prophet, so-called scientists jump to wrong conclusions....
which "lies" are you referring to exactly that you're renouncing.
btw - you can't renounce something for other people, you can only renounce God for yourself
Who did all that claiming and confusing?

I know it wasn't me.

Allow be to broaden your education by a considerable amount. The song's title means "rejoice". It's a truly joyful paean, and beautifully sung. Although, as my daughter has noted, their pronunciation of the Latin could be improved with an axe.
And I do not always automatically take the opposite stance to you, as you'd discover if you tried being right, just once.
And to paraphrase Pratchett, sheep are stupid, and need to be driven. Goats are smart, and need to be led.
BAAAA much?
mac - i didn't open the link or listen to the religious song. just thought it very odd that all most people hate about Christianity is due to the tyrany of romanism/catholicism, but yet sum like the most pagan/religious aspects of it as long as it doesn't honor the Christ too specifically;)

BTW - it's not hard at all to figure out who society's sheep are and who they are not; just observe who it is who sells their soul to political correctness! the titles and causes may change a bit from society to society, but the fascist & antichrist spirit behind it has been the same thoughout every generation!

don't thank me - just repent!;)

Because they all go together so well. You're obviously short on all counts.
waaasssuuup wrote:
<quoted text>it's very frustrating
That's your fault.
waaasssuuup wrote:
<quoted text> and it's no wonder why your priest & prophet, so-called scientists jump to wrong conclusions....
Why do you insist on demonstrating your lack of intelligence by referring to scientists as "priests and prophets," and referring to science as a "religion?" You know they are not the same thing, yet you attempt to claim they are merely by willing them to be the same. You are not dealing with reality.
waaasssuuup wrote:

Yours, your religions, and your bible's. That has been made abundantly clear.
waaasssuuup wrote:

I don't renounce something that does not exist. You, on the other hand, have bragged about renouncing education, intelligence, and thought. You are the one who has referred to the human brain as "gray mush;" well, in your case it's true. Don't blame us for pointing out the stupidity, religiousity and superstition you so proudly display.

YOu said: "...since you'll invetibly take the opposite side of me on any subject...."

Stop playing victim.

"Communicate respectfully..." Go ask about the female posters' pubic hair some more, there's some "respectful communication" right there. You pretend to be a victim while pretending at the same time to be perfect.

You're just pathetic.

I don't honor your christ, because what you honor with your lies and hypocrisy is evil. I will never "honor" your evil christ.

Odd, innit, that he won't even view a late-60s pop song if it tends to show him wrong?

Wait, it's not that odd after all.

Here, ad omnes - it's just poetry.

"Where dips the rocky highland
Of Sleuth Wood in the lake,
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water rats;
There we've hid our faery vats,
Full of berrys
And of reddest stolen cherries.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand.
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.

Where the wave of moonlight glosses
The dim gray sands with light,
Far off by furthest Rosses
We foot it all the night,
Weaving olden dances
Mingling hands and mingling glances
Till the moon has taken flight;
To and fro we leap
And chase the frothy bubbles,
While the world is full of troubles
And anxious in its sleep.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.

Where the wandering water gushes
From the hills above Glen-Car,
In pools among the rushes
That scarce could bathe a star,
We seek for slumbering trout
And whispering in their ears
Give them unquiet dreams;
Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
Over the young streams.

Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.

Away with us he's going,
The bright, but solemn eyed -
He'll hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside
Or the kettle on the hob
Sing peace into his breast,
Or see the brown mice bob
Round and round the oatmeal chest.

For he comes, the human child
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
From a world more full of weeping than he can understand."

I never claimed to be perfect. But I do take responsibility for my own actions. Ethical people are like that.

Like the christians do.

No worries; I'm not a christians like you, who claims to be forgiven for everything that you will ever do.

I don't care any more about your savior's ten commandments than you do.

I do, however, live by the rules and laws of society. You don't believe in either, you just tell yourself you're forgiven. That makes you potentially more dangerous. Like the pedophile who says, "But I'm christian! I'm weak, I can't resist my urges, but I AM FORGIVEN!"
