LOL *snort*
Did someone tell you that someone claiming to be from the tribe of Benjamin and a Pharisee was a member of some type of affluent Jewish leadership?
You so funny, and ignorant.
you couldn't think rationally to save your soul (literally) when it comes to a biblical conversation!

what do you suppose was a more affluent position for paul in his day; to identify with the learned jews or with the newly-forming, despised and persecuted gentile church???

All the Christian love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control here is just intoxicating, don't ya' think?
I think that is important to include the previous verses with this thought. Paul is creating the dichotomy of who is in (above) and who is out (see below). He is not talking about non-believers, he is talking about those claiming to be part of the group. The second group is represented by most of the Christians who visit here. The evidence is in their own words. Interestingly enough, it also included Paul, himself, although he would disagree.

Gal. 5: 19-21
"Now the actions of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions, envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that. I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."

In a magazine called Look, published in 1953, the philosopher Bertrand Russell clarified what being an atheistically-inclined agnostic meant for him, via a series of questions. There is, perhaps, some benefit in juxtaposing excerpts from some of the actual answers he gave with ones Socrates might have given, had he been asked too. He was an agnostic too, though of a different kind Ė being more religiously-inclined. A virtual conversation defines, as it were, two poles on the continuum of agnostic belief.

You're right and heaven will be one lonely, empty place, almost completely devoid of Christians... Thinking of it in those terms, it might not be such a bad place after all!! LOL

I wonder if they'll let me play guitar instead of harp?

your 'faith' in anti-bible/antichrist propoganda is astounding!
too bad that you're not a little less gullible there and a bit more objective to authorized documentation:(
Jesus reveals the motives behind why a person isn't:
"For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed"
Authorized? How much do you know about the Councils of Nicea? Indeed, how much do you know about the history of the Bible at all?

Your faith in Bible propaganda is astounding.
