Please admit to everyone that you do not believe that you are saved once, saved forever.
Please admit to everyone that you believe you must maintain your own salvation, speak in tongues, and await the baptism of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders following and that you are not saved, but in danger of hellfire if you die right now.
huh? non - i'm not gonna carry your baggage, hon:)

Hey, ya wanna see something interesting?
Reread that story from Isaiah 37 and then flip over to 2 Kings 19 and compare the two.
Watch this:
2 Kings 19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
Exactly the same, almost word for word. The compilers of Isaiah appear to have copied verbatim from the Deuteronomistic Historian's story.
Check them both out.
LOL
It's funny how the dead can rise up in the morning and see that they're all dead.
What a >rude awakening<.

I do not know to whom you speak, but you do know, that there are females born with male sex organs, and males born with female parts.

gender is not defined by the contents of your pants.

Is anyone read this book?

The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

I might tackle it...maybe...

At this site is an is a review on one of the chapters that I have found rather interesting.

Excerpt...

In an essay in The Times’ Sunday Book Review this week the writer Paul Elie asks the intriguing question: Has fiction lost its faith? As we are gathered here today, let us consider one of the most oddly faithful of all fiction writers, Fyodor Dostoevsky. More specifically, I’d like focus pretty intensely on what some consider to be the key moment in his greatest novel — arguably one of the greatest of all time —“The Brothers Karamazov.”(Elie himself notes the 1880 masterpiece as an example of the truly faith-engaged fiction of yore.) I speak in particular of the “Grand Inquisitor” scene, a sort of fiction within a fiction that draws on something powerful from the New Testament — Jesus’s refusal of Satan’s three temptations — and in doing so digs at the meaning of faith, freedom, happiness and the diabolic satisfaction of our desires.
Great book, I could write an essay but without the grading, what's the point.

Sounds interesting. I might have to give it a look.
The article on the opinionator blog is what caught my interest. I started to post the sections here but it is somewhat lengthy...

It was great thought provoking writing...at least in my opinion.

Most importantly, IMO, is that these empty threats reveal the depth of the fear of the indoctrinated Christian, the fear of being found wanting by a judgmental deity.
It's impossible to have a deity that is both merciful and just. So believers often cling to mercy for themselves and judgment for everyone else.
They seem to forget that they get measured by the same scoop that they use to measure others, at least according to their own book.
So much truth in so few words.

Let's hope that the RCC just keeps on blowing smoke, black smoke that is...lol
I think it's ironic that they use smoke. They have been blowing smoke up mankind's ass for two centuries. I watched a documentary on the History Channel called "The Odessa File". I eventually added it to my collection. It goes into detail about the Catholic church's involvement in smuggling ex-Nazis out of Europe and into South America after the WWII. Of course the church has since apologized for that mistake (one of many throughout history), but one has to ask the question; if they are guided by the "holy spirit" of their god, how could they make so many mistakes? Their god can't seem to do anything right.

The Catholic church is the most pathetic, ruthless, and evil of all the churches, and that's really saying something.

one more time: living by the Bible, New Covenant cuz that's what the world's been under now for over 2,000 years, is summed up in jn 3:16.

I BELIEVE IN THE SON OF GOD and therefore i live by the Bible! see how simple that is?:)

No, I love the Jews.
I also love christians.
I'm a people type of person.

However, I do wish for demise on certain people who perform unforgivable acts.
On top of the list are those who commit horrific crimes to animals.

Then you never actually read the whole story.
Hezekiah paid the required tribute to the Assyrians and became a vassal king of the Assyrian Empire. A defeat, not a victory.
Why don't you compare the biblical account against the Assyrian account some time and you will find the points of agreement. You will also notice the propaganda from both sides.
Go to passage 18 to see the Hezekiah portion from Sennacherib's Stele:
