Why I’m no longer a Christian

IT is confused. IT can't differentiate between someone admonishing another for the same behavior they exhibit and someone questioning why someone would admonish another while exhibiting the same behavior. IT lacks intellectual capacity and IT confuses easily here on this fourth-rate a interned forum. IT sucks to suck. IT should call 911 and ask for a rubber room.

IT is continually confused. IT can't separate fantasy from reality. IT sucks.

Well Wassie ,you're on to something in that regard, been called "Pagan Christianity". A book was written on it with the same title by Frank Viola & G. Barna. You may have read it , if not an interesting read, particularly for the uninitiated :

thanks! I haven't read it but i could probably have written it. i'm a PROTESTant in the true sense of the word; i've been pesonally delivered from the sinister snare of romanism and i am now it's arch opposition;)

IT is seething right now. ITs cranium is bursting to the seams as ITs two brain cells fight in anger over what little they have and how little they achieve. IT has hurt no one, despite ITs delusions of grandeur. IT is a mockery of ITself. IT sucks. ITs not even human.

Yet your entire dogma is due to Romanism. Why are Christians so woefully ignorant of their religion?

IT is seething now in ITs subhuman, subterranean lair of ineptitude. IT wants to be recognized, but, IT is nothing more than a boot scrape detritus in the pathway of Topix. IT sucks.

Still pretending to speak for something that doesn't exist, are ya?
<quoted text>
Translation: "Once again, she asks me a question I just can't answer, so I won't even address it. But I do have the mind of jesus."
<quoted text>
Here you go again, playing the victim. Keep it up; you'll be a victim all your life.
In the beginning, I *was* polite to you; you responded to my politeness with condescension and patronization, sexism, religious bigotry, deflection and outright lies.
<quoted text>
Y'know that condescension I just mentioned? Thanks for providing another example of it.
You just don't want to address those tough questions, do you?
<quoted text>
The first few times I ever posted to you. And as I pointed out, you responded to my politeness with condescension and patronization, sexism, religious bigotry, deflection and outright lies.
I've already covered that.
<quoted text>
"Hon" and "sweethart" were two condescending names you called me, and I asked you repeatedly not to; your response was to continue, and then to start asking me about my pubic hair.
<quoted text>
And you refuse to *honestly* ask yourself why. Introspection is not one of your strong suits.
i'm sorry for all the offensive things i've said to you in the past and i'm interested in what 'we' can do in 'our' future to leave that stuff behind.

now - how's about you being honest and owning up to all the rude/crude things you've said in the past to me?:)

respect your "freedom of speech"....here u won't be killed or abused for it as in many countries.....which is good, huh?

what u r basically doing in ur forum is proselytizing for atheism; that's ur right....as a Christian missionary would try to show others the TRUTH, which doesn't always feel like a bomb going off when found. and if not nurtured, usually doesn't produce much for the person....helping others is good start to nurture and test that faith...many not so good persons of the faith may turn you against (or zealots or those who practice the religion in ways that don't work for you)...doesn't change the true faith waiting there for you to put forth as YOU choose. Religion is not spirituality, but only a way to practice it. Religion is humans, spirituality is God.

if u were confident with ur decision, u would have less need to post details to others worldwide which lead those undecided or lost to choose as u did.

it's ok tho - i'm glad u shared......albeit a bit sad for you with such amazing resources to take forward and make purer and realer to others TRUTH in a way others failed to do with you....u chose the other path; that's your "right".....know you can remove your love, but love will not be removed from you....not guilt, love to you.

Correct. It is called Modern Christianity.
You don't even know the history of your own religion.
You are just another retard following the parade.
i agree with you that much of christendom has been influenced by rome's control. there are also zillions of other ways to be distracted from the Truth.

what you seem to fail to understand, is that there's a very real and capable God who's been faithful to preserve His Word & that He's able to reveal Himself to people who want to know Him despite of all the distractions.

huh?! calling me "evil" is very subjective. i will admit that as a human, i can get sarcastic when i feel misunderstood & misrepresented when posting, but i sincerely want to communicate the good news of the Gospel for your benefit and not mine:)

Things did not get any better after the breakaway from the RCC.
Protestants are responsible for many heinous to humanity.
For example, let's look at the father of protestantism, Martin Luther.
His hatred for the Jews was appalling and decreed that the Jews should be exterminated.
Also, look at the massive witch hunts by the pretestants in the first few centuries of its formation.
Many innocents were put to death by drowning or by a fiery stake and perhaps torture chambers were used as was during the reign of King Henry VIII.
The protestants did a lot of nasty s#it.
i agree that HUMANS do lots of nasty stuff, regardless of the various philosophies that they've subscribed to.

don't get me started with the mass murders of millions done in the name of communism/socialism/atheisim that's still going on as we speak!
