What do you think missionaries do these days, and even in days gone by? I listen to stories of missionaries throughout the world going back as far as they were recorded every day. It is a labor of love. Backbreaking work, nothing like TV Evangelists reaching around the world and taking from others opposed to giving. Dangerous areas and many have lost their lives in an attempt to help others have theirs.
Missionaries have built schools and homes, built fresh water sources in areas that have little, furnished medical aid and education including that of population control. They have donated clothing, food, water, medicine, teaching aids, regularly in addition to being there during natural disasters. Moreover they have educated people to provide for themselves such as growing their own needed food, so they may have a better chance of survival as a people in the future.
God's Word is only one part of the offerings given to people around the world. Brag all you want, but your time on Topix alone would make it impossible for you to live up to all your claims.
Why do you think it's 'impossible' sweets?

I apologize. Your posts have never indicated anything but. Some of you like to dissect us but seem to have no beliefs of your own worth sharing. Kinda makes it easy for you to always be right when you interrogate others but share nothing of yours to be scrutinized.
On what planet did you expect your false piety followed by post-rejection anger to be accepted in a thread entitled, "Why I am No Longer a Christian"? Your narcissism precludes any manner of rational thought. You liken yourself to a god, as though your opinion has any merit among those that have already rejected your irrational world. Perhaps if this is so bothersome to you, you should take your Bible-sales scam up the road.

Sin is way over-rated for sure.
It's just ridiculous. Only naturalistic creatures can be hurt by our actions, not some imaginary friend in a non-descript corner of the Universe.

Hi Juice. Well, it's NOT right. That is only the belief of those that oppose Paul representing God as a teacher primarily to the Gentiles, and believe him a fake. In other words, it is of those that believe the OT and very little of the NT if any. Or most Judaism. We do not separate the Books of the NT into anything more than the Word of God.
There are no labels given by God to those that believe the NT other than His. It is only given by those that oppose Christianity. We don't worship Paul. So if you think it seems right, you are following the teachings of anti-Christians such as G. You don't want to do that, do you?
Col. 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
and
1 Tim. 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
You're coming apart at the seams. You sure claim to be able to speak for an entity that you claim is too complex for people to understand. Funny how you seem to have this discernment ability while not extending that luxury to others. This is tacit, implicit proof that you have molded your soap god in your own image. It is an extension of your Id and your Ego, nothing more, as there is no others there there.

So now you present yourself as a judgmental shrew. Now not only do you know everything about God, but you know everything about G_O_D. Fortunately, Da Grande Buch of Multiple Choice covers your strange ass. So, which is it in this case?

Matthew 7:1 or Psalms 37:30?

But, John 7:24 shows you to be nothing more than a harping wolf pretending to be a sheep. You have been exposed and your core is rotten. Take your act up the road, preacher. There's no collection plate here. Wait, on second thought, you even attempting to judge men, preach to them, or tell them how to behave is a gross, egregious violation of your toilet paper rag. Funny how you don't follow what it says inside of there. Why would you? You claim to know the "mind" of your invisible friend. It is not faith you have, Ms. McGillicuddy, but Ego. This is just another of your posts that proves it.

Very well, I am no longer a 'Christian'.

Why? Because I was deceived.

Something about the road to somewhere being wide I think it was...

I love my Thesaurus by the way G, let's see some alternative words to wide... broad, extensive, spacious, vast, spread out, broad, extensive, diverse, full, ample, large, large-scale, wide-ranging, exhaustive, general, all-inclusive...

"Most of the intelligent men in Turkey are followers of Mahomet. They were rocked in the cradle of the Koran, they received their religious opinions as they did their features - from their parents.... The same may be said of the Christians of our country. Their belief is the result, not of thought, of investigation, but of surroundings."--Robert Green Ingersoll, "Which Way?"
