If you are trying to convinve others, it most certainly is.
Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us we must convince others of anything. Jesus didn't even tell his Apostles they must convince others of what they preached. We are only told to share His Word and do our best to uphold it. There is nothing forceful about God's intention or invitation. Neither are we to threaten others who don't believe.

I'm not trying to convince anyone. Merely expressing my beliefs. Can you and X say the same? What with the 'cause' and all.
I have no 'cause' but to try and communicate honestly and openly about the Abrahamic religions.

That so many with those religions are incapable of rational and honest discourse makes it very difficult to do so.

Rabbi in the sense of "teacher", correct? Are you Jewish or would you rather not say? It's certainly not mandatory to disclose such things on a forum of this sort.

Then you accept the Sumerian originals as "the word of God", right ?
What about the hundreds of texts banned by Chrisitnaity ?
I believe Titus 3:9 applies here. We can accept or deny any writings we wish. Although I've read much of what is not included within the KJV, such as the Apocrypha and more, I believe God included just what I needed within my Bible, and that it is the Word of God as He wishes it to be. That is why we are all entitled to believe as we are so led.

You're confusing yourself.
I wrote just the opposite: "Jesus is the only Savior for the whole world, and only God can forgive sins - not a priest, etc."
Therefore, I was criticizing Catholicism, not calling it a Christian religion.
Confessing sins to God is a fundamental belief of all Protestant churches, and even cults, yet Catholics are told to confess to a human being.
It's THAT simple, not confusing except to unbelievers.
I agree. I find the RCC continues to oppose a huge majority of Christ's teachings alone. What you stated is just the tip of the iceberg. They are once again changing the interpretation of sound doctrine to adapt to the "modern times" including the secular majority. After all, their livelihood and world wealth depends on them keeping their congregations lulled into a false comfort level that incorporates their sin.

How does that address your desire to commit adultery, which is expressly forbidden by your "word of god?" Or does your god make special exceptions just for hypocrites like you?
how about you get off your self-righteous hi-horse for once and take a joke like humans usually do with each other.....

I am a teacher.
I have not converted to Judaism, I am not sure of any Hebrew ancestry, I would not be at all suprised though.

I find Reform Judaism and the teachings of Jesus, even postulating Jesus as an Atonement for all mankind, to be harmonious.

Wow, all those Christians that didn't have 'The Bible' for 350 years must have been damned to Hell.

<quoted text>Sorry, JLu, I don't believe you.

You didn't sit down and read the Bible and come up with all those christian interpretations. You were taught that Revelation and Daniel is about "The AntiChrist".

Please try to be honest... with yourself at least.
I am being honest. Whether you believe me or not is of no consequence.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Aries

Your emotions have the upper hand, making you rather fiery and fervent. That's great if you're hoping for a passionate encounter with you-know-who, because you'll be really hot stuff. However, in non-sexual situations you could become somewhat tempestuous and irritable, especially if you suspect that things aren't going the way you want.
