Blasphemy!
But technically correct.
Bruce Wayne had no superpowers.
Depends on one's definition of "superhero" doesn't it ?

Let's do a recap:
You accused me of murdering your messiah.
Come to find out, according to your scriptures, your mythical messiah said I don't have that power and his death was a suicide.
Apparently upset at BibleJesus contradicting you, you spun off into a fantasy about me and "the final solution" and my acquiescence with a putative assault on the constitution:
http://www.topix.com/forum/topstories/TSHQAVD...
Of course, you were lying about me because you had nothing else. And really what was being assaulted was your version of your myth by your own scriptures.
Sucks to have a myth you don't actually understand, huh?
You hit the nail on the head!

"Christians" get frantic when they are faced with the words in their own magic book.

....Angels were not gods long before Christianity was invented,...
Yeah, They were.

Other worldy messengers are common in many religions.

It is common for Abrahamic religion believers to call all other religions' supernatural entities "gods" while maintaining their own pantheon of supernatural beings are "not Gods".

If you want to call "a mix between Spinoza and Taoist philosophy with a good deal of Campbell's Mythos" a belief in a deity, OK.
One could also claim that an athiest environmentalist who constantly uses the phrase "Mother Earth" believes in a deity. <smile>
I try to follow what Jesus taught because I believe it is a good way to become a "complete person". If I knew as much about Buddha and live in a Buddha-centric country I would probably follow the teachings of Buddha.
I do not "know" what "The right path" is. I only know the "paths" I have tread myself.
Understood, and thanks for the response.

Comics trivia time:
Batman was introduced to the world in Detective Comics #27, in "The Case of the Chemical Syndicate", which was published in May of 1939. Bruce Wayne, as Batman, investigates the death of a Chemical company executive to find out that he and another partner were murdered by a third partner, who fights Batman and is pushed into a vat of acid at the plant by the caped crusader.
Obviously, a pre-code* comic.
If you owned this book in a near mint condition, it would be worth about a million and a half bucks. If you owned a copy intact but in rough condition, it would be worth as much as 80 grand.

I had every DC, Charleton and Marvel comic printed between 1960 and 1970. My mother threw them all out in 1980 when they sold the house I grew up in.

Kind of like the apocalyptic belief that God handed over control of the world to Ha Satan?
Thanks for helping to prove the point.
To bad they left that part out of the Bible. Must have been during the intermission between the OT and NT.

Yes we know it, its a little thing called Reality.....
Hmmm, Like you "know" there is no life on other planets, life can not exist without sunlight, there are no continents between Europe and Asia, human flight is impossible, the sound barrier can not be broken, etc.

Or are you talking about todays "reality" ?
