What seems odd to me is that they can not understand that.
Many are literally trained to believe from birth. Like Pavlov's dog they are conditioned. If they ever try to start thinking for themselves they are told that it is "gods" way of "testing" them. This is where some of the fear is used. Most will waste their life away on religion. They were indoctrinated into this life.

Been there, done that, broke free 40+ years ago...
Tough journey however...it's hard to shake that childhood indoctrination.
Thankfully, Logic wins...

Yes but shouldn't Logic take hold, eventually, to remind one that division also shows weakness?
Logic is expelled...take a good look around...

Hi Wiggley :D
Are you by any chance intimating that Christians are incapable of logical reasoning?

His mother was only 14 when his illegitimate birth occurred. He was dyslexic and dropped out of school in the 9th grade. And yet many followed and defended his 'religion'. Weird.

Not at all...only when it comes to the god-being and the religion associated with it.
The divisions reveal the weakness of religion and Logic requires one to consider that.

Glad you are still able to post here. Hopefully the flooding will soon subside.
Stay safe.

And somehow he was able to become a religious leader.
Go figure...

Exactly...which defines and religates the divisions.
Which defies Logic.

Would you like to talk about Moses? He had a horrible speech impediment and stuttered, yet was the spokesman for his people and for God with the help of his brother Aaron.

Helen Keller was blind but could see more than many. It is only the way of carnal man to judge leadership and abilities, particularly spiritual, by being superior physically, mentally, and emotionally, in the eyes of man alone. Sad your mindset of who is qualified as a human being. Thank God you are NOT the Judge.
We can not know the details about individuals from biblical times like we know the details about current religious "leaders" who claim to be "christian".
Either way, Logic still questions the reliability of any of their claims.

Hebrews 10:19-25

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Amen <3

Religion is a mess and a joke, yes, but God is not.
